Who uses right mouse btton as fowards.

I can only play first person shooter games by using the right mouse button to move fowards, my mates find this arrangement very weird.

I was just wondering, how many other people uses this method?.

My CFG is prolly the wierdest…
but I use right mouse to jump, and ‘rightarrow’ to reload :stuck_out_tongue:

I use left mosue for forward and right mouse for reverse with the thumb button to look in the rear view mirror

My right mouse is jump - left mouse is fire. I have a side mouse button to do an FFE where my cross hairs are…

I use mouse2 to move forward, mouse1 to move back, and fire using downarrow :slight_smile:

Incedentally, is it just me who always thinks of the mouse buttons primarily as mouse1 and mouse2, rather than ‘left mouse button’ and ‘right mouse button’?

You know you’ve been playing id (and id-engine) games too long when…

Lol, i’m starting to think of them as Mouse1, Mouse2 and Mouse3 for the wheel button…

Erm, yeah, I use Mouse2 as forward, M as sprint, G and H for strafing, F crouch, D backwards, C prone, Y reload, T alt fire. I’ve been accused of having a hack with these keys… an agility hack LOL. They also complained that my stamina bar recharged faster than anyone elses…

Seen as though I play on a shrub server a lot at the moment, and have admin, I’m half tempted to enter this into the console:
/bind MOUSE1 say !kick [p] BANG!

nope :slight_smile: I haven’t used anything except for un*x for the last 8 years, and in X it’s just button1, button2, … so I always have to think a bit where’s left and where’s right :wink:

RMB is +sprint. RMB is +forward only on my mouse-only config.
