Who plans on staying with Wolfenstien Enemy Territory?

Hey with the release of ETQW, I’m wondering who’s gonna stay with Wolfenstien Enemy territory. I hope if you do get ETQW, that sometime you will go back to Wolfenstien Enemy Territory. :quake: 8)

I’m not going to leave WolfET until new ‘Wolfenstein’ comes.

ET:QW? I don’t like future weapons and battlefield in game of any kind (rpg, strategy, fps, etc.).

Yeah, I don’t really like complicated new gadgets, and futuristic weapons all that much. I like the simplicity of W:et and that’s why I’m staying. And it runs awesome on my computer, and ET:QW might have some issues. :slight_smile:

Bf2142 is nice, QW is just a copy from it.
so if id play a game like this id pick BF2142.
but i dont, ET forever :wink:

Oh yeah, I have BF2142! I like it too. But I haven’t gotten around playing it online yet. ETQW came out and it was basically BF2142 with quake throwed in. So I’ll stick with W:ET for a while.

When I read this, I would somehow assume that you haven’t played either of them if you are serious about that statement.

Same here - most BF players actually dislike ET:QW, as do a lot of serious Quake players. I believe the comparison W:ET versus ET:QW still stands best, not Quake nor Battlefield.

Of course, it is your opinion, but it is also my right to point out that it might very well be wrong.

W:ET will always have a place on my hard drive. Genius, fast and fun game. Incredible well made maps. Nice community, great servers.

Except W:ET :D. OH and there’s not much cheaters left nowadays imo. I don’t even remember last time I saw a cheater. Cheating seemed to be like pop year ago but it’s gone imo.

but wasn’t QW announced well before BF2142 and EA just rushed out a “modded” version of BF2 with futuristic setting in order to beat QW to release, thus fooling eveyone into thinking QW is a copy of BF2142 and not the other way around (seems to have worked) :banghead:
