Just in case no one has noticed and this relates back to my original jab at Apoc, the most recent of these alleged admin abuses is from almost 2 years ago and McNite hasn’t been active for almost that same length of time. Talking about not being able to let something go. Especially something like an online game where all that happened was you’re not able to play on one server where you don’t even like the people who run it anyway.
Regarding those bans, they are all strict interpretations of our server philosphy. A big part of which is balanced, objective play. All clan members have admin rights on our server. McNite was definitely the most strict. It’s definitely a challenge trying enforce balance, no spawnkilling, no spawn blocking, etc… without hitting some gray areas. Again it all goes back to following the rules of the server you’re on. It is really not that hard. Even with all this ‘horrible press’ ]UBC[ has not had trouble having plenty of fun on our and other servers with lots of good and fun players over the last couple of years. It seems to me that most of the negative views expressed about us here are from an extreme, radical segment of the community. There may be plenty who don’t agree with how we choose to run our server but they respect our right to. If anything all these negative things about us are actually positives in that it keeps the unruly mobs off our server. I don’t rant and rave on or about other servers that are free for alls with basically no server rules. I play on them and if I start not having fun I find somewhere else to play. Our server has not been very active recently primarily because the player base has appeared to shrunk significantly and there are only a few ]UBC[ members who are currently playing much currently.
The only problem we’ve had on other servers that I’m aware of is from stephenblood/ispellcorrectly who’ll you have noticed liked to stick his nose into what was being discussed on our forums. He got into a position of power in GK when it was around and banned any of us that showed up on their server including zman of all people. You are complaining about McNite being an abusing power hungry admin. How in the world can you then say that we should expect to be banned on other servers simply from showing our face there and because of who we are associated with? It seems that you can’t get much more power mad than that. We had lots of the GK guys playing on our server all the time, even though most if not all of us had been banned from their server. Sounds like we’re a right difficult bunch to get along with doesn’t it?
The words above may in no case justify what your admins did. Your words only hint that there are other bad admins in other clans (as if we didn"t know), nothing else…

I remember McNite as being a great mapper in the W:ET realm, always seemed decent enough to me but not experienced any admin issues on UBC either.
Could it be you re getting McNite mixed up with Nanite (forgot the clantag b4 the nick) coz he did play W:ET and afaik McNite didnt.
McNite did indeed make W:ET maps, he made Warbell and some other map that can’t remember.
Warbell that was the one with the 3 sacrifices, was fun 
The other I think was a map with a big ramp over a river and a library up a tower in it but can’t remember the name either.
