Which Type Of Hackers Do You Hate The Most?

(Fuze) #1

Recently, I’ve been running into a lot of ESPers and while it isn’t as devastation as a triggerbot or aimbot, I find it vastly more frustrating, considering it’s less obvious to detect visually and almost all of them tend to be very talkative, pretending as if they are legit, complaining when they get killed, acting as if they are bad when they have insanely high k/d and score, etc etc. The same could be said about triggerbotters like the recent moron who everyone has been talking about on reddit. At least those are obvious to spot when you actually spectate them, even more so if they are dumb enough to post gameplay videos on their YouTube. Meanwhile, you could try and write off ESPing as pure luck, but that quickly falls apart when just about every kill they get is from them pre-aiming towards an enemy merc while turning corners. With all of that said, which type of hackers do YOU hate the most? The people who pretend they aren’t doing it? The obvious scumbags who are just aimbotting every single person who enters their line of sight? I’d like to know what actually gets to people the most and am interested to know how many of you share my views. So then, share your thoughts!

HAHAHAHA
i love this, right after you called hacks on waters in totalbiscuits stream

Aimbotters. Hate them, they destroy the whole flow of the Game, you can jump like crazy but baby, they hs you whatever skill you have.

(Keldrath) #4

Aimbotters. Anything else I can stand a chance against. An Aimbotter you don’t even get an opportunity to shoot at. ESP wont auto win for a hacker if I can react quicker, and shoot better and more accurately than him.

(XavienX) #5

That’s not a question, it’s a statement. Everyone hates all types of hackers.

(Ghosthree3) #6

The ones that you don’t know are hacking. Their performance is unearned but unquestioned.

(smartIsland) #7

wall hacks all over the place today. people prefiring around corners and running directly to you even when you are far behind them flanking

Talk about insult to injury. I didn’t even know I was being broadcasted until I quit out of the game after that match, saw TB streaming on my Twitter feed, loaded it up and then saw me talking on lobby chat thanks to his stream delay. But whatever, this is the first time I’ve questioned someone in weeks. Last time I saw someone pulling that crud, they were openly hacking. I get that some people get lucky prefires around corners time to time, but when you’re constantly getting them throughout an entire match, it’s as questionable as it gets. Especially when you factor in how many times he jumped off the second bridge and pre-fired into the tiny room at the end of Chapel before even landing. But sure, maybe he just prefires at literally every corner he passes and I’m not going to pretend I’ve never seen people do that before, but the landing shots off the bridge made me talk to my team at the end of the match about it as you apparently saw. Either way, this isn’t the place to talk about it, so we’ll keep it at that.

went into a ranked match and had someone aimbotting, definitely wasn’t a fun experience :disappointed:

(scrub_lord) #10

Closet hackers. Players who try to hide their hacks and create the illusion that they are good.

(pnellesen) #11

I personally hate triggerbots. Most aimbots you can spectate and they’re pretty obvious, but triggerbots are more insidious - it can be very hard to tell a triggerbot from “good aim/good reflexes” unless they screw up (like said moron on Reddit did).

You know what I hate more than cheaters? People who constantly call players cheaters when they aren’t cheating. I’m so sick of it. I’ve played competitive FPS games for a long time and it’s so bad in this game. It’s like that stereotype mentality from MOBA games where it’s always, “everyone else sucks but me” has taken over all of gaming.

At least cheaters will eventually be caught and banned. But you can’t really stop people from constantly accusing others. I consider it almost as harmful to the community as actual cheating since it influences what people think about the game overall.

BTW, this has nothing to do with anybody in this thread. I just see it in pubs all the time and it is really disheartening. If you think somebody is cheating gather proof. Analyze it yourself and if you still think they are cheating then turn them in. Don’t just go, “lol guy is such a cheater” /disconnect. Do your part to help and don’t be the problem.

(Gestankfaust) #13

ummm…all of them?

(avidCow) #14

The ones who openly admit in-game and just don’t care.

(mellowGrowl) #15

aimbotter fo sure :pensive:

One time I called a dude out on it, he had been doing entire team, under two seconds, headshot wipes for most of the game with Rhino’s minigun from a solid distance (as well as being verbally abusive to the players), and I call him out, right? Anyway, this dude, I dunno what he did with the program because I dunno how that stuff works, but he starts doing the team wipes but with body shot kills only. And he goes “See? No heads.”

And I guess that kinda rubbed me the wrong way. To answer your question, hackers in competitive are a huge problem. Plus you know, these guys, if they cheat their way to a high level or rank or whatever, they might be able to sell those accounts for decent cash if the game ever does well and people want high leveled accounts, you know like with an MMO account seller. Dunno if that kinda thing happens, but if it can, these guys are basically investing their time and making cash off criminal acts.

And I goddamn hate criminal acts.

Yeah it can be annoying since they are completely disregarding your own personal skill, but I get called a hacker in pub games by someone at least once a day and it always feels like an accomplishment, like I really did something even if we didn’t win, it’s like a moral victory.

People are really quick to call it out. I’m not even that good. Maybe mediocre, but they’ll still say it.

(ThatRandomGuy) #19

The ones who say GG EZ while botting and acting like PROs !

(Eox) #20

Why debating about “what kind of cheater do you hate the post” ? They’re all potential 12 years old kids that just want to ruin your day. Just report the scum. A good cheater is a banned cheater.
