Which Type Of Hackers Do You Hate The Most?

(RuleofBooKz) #21

the worst thing to do when getting accused of hacking is not saying anything - just a quick “oh thx for the compliment but its just skill” or something to that effect can stop things from escalating most often.

i know its not exactly logical but some hackers dont think hacking is necessarily a dishonest practice - for many reasons. So its not always a case of “yeah they are hacking why wont they just lie and say they are not”?

One thing is sure: being distant and giving the server a wall of silence when you have been accused of hacking isnt going to make people less suspicious

All hackers. They are all a poor excuse for a human being.

The worst are people who have god-mode and kill anyone 1 shot from anywhere on the map. Haven’t seen it that bad in DB yet, but in other games they appear quite frequently.
lol this thread - any and all hackers.

Its like saying “what type of murderer do u hate the most” um i really hate those stabby ones that get u in your sleep they are the worst so annoying
Not all hackers are bad tbh. I’ve seen some just do funny crap like change their player models and animations or spawn in-game money and items. I’ve even witnessed counter hackers who would use their cheats to fight other cheaters.

They are all extremely rare though and most hackers are just childish ***holes.

(sinKrin) #24

I dislike anyone who cheats in multiplayer games. Scum, the lot of them.

(watsyurdeal) #25

Honestly, I hate the hackusations more than the hackers.

Like, it’s such an easy scapegoat to deny you’re the problem, it’s so much easier to just say someone is hacking and that’s why they’re better than you. Not because, you know, you’re still learning how to play.

And I know hackers exist, I’ve ran into a couple last month but it’s nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

(Eox) #26

Which is an extremely bad idea. Entertaining the cheater in front of you like this will make him even more enclined to continue cheating.

(sinKrin) #27

@Watsyurdeal I completely agree about the hackusations, I’ve seen more of those than actual hackers (cheaters)

I’ve even tried to explain to players on my team that the player they have accused is not cheating. Sometimes they listen, others they don’t. You can but try

Yup. And this is what bothers me the most. There are so many players playing right now that would rather believe that people are cheating and quit or poison everyone else into thinking people are cheating to the point of it being extremely bad for the community. All you can do is explain things to them but doing that constantly can grate on a person too.

(RuleofBooKz) #29

some hackers are way easy to tell some you cant tell at all 99% of the time they are playing

(activeClip) #30

Closet Hackers are the worst, probably not a big issue in DB but could easily be.

You know the ones who are actually pretty good at the game and sit there doing there best to hide that they cheat but at the same time take full advantage of it.

Could be as simple as toggling Wallhack for a few seconds to see enemys set up, or could just toggle aim key for a quick kill or two just to advance the objective a bit faster or when they are running out of time.

You know the hackers you are only 90% sure that are cheating but very well could not be.

If that retard curse or whatever used a aimkey and not a straight up triggerbot, you probably wouldnt be able to tell he was cheating if he was smart, but his videos prove he is dumb.

(RuleofBooKz) #31

yes activeClip and its exactly that type of cheater that breeds all the suspicion and bad vibes when someone is playing super good. ITs that “are they or arnt they” thing.

as ive mentioned - just being friendly and clear with your fellow community members when accused goes a long way to making the server less toxic. Just buttoning up and putting up that wall of silence does not help but rather provokes further question / accusations.

(Amerika) #32

At least one good thing about DB is due to the TTK, the pacing and how the maps work (limited routes), wallhacking isn’t as big of an issue as it is in other games where a fight is decided in the first 250ms.

(AlphaUT) #33

One-shot hack or aimbot i guess, but haven’t see one for 82 hours

(Jojack) #34

Hate the hackusations worse than the hackers, not really, but they really are worse for the community because of the volume of hackusation in relation to actual hackers.

Earlier today…or last night…I was in a pub match. There was a guy on the other team with a really high score compared to the rest of his team, like triple the second place dude. A few guys on my team start screaming hacks and trying to convince the opposing side to kick the poor guy.

I asked them what they saw, because I honestly thought the guy was terrible. I wasn’t sure how he was racking up the points. They said, “just look at his score! Obvious hacks!”

Well, the end of the match came and the guy had a KDR of 10/28, he was just really pushing the EV. I could not stop laughing at those idiots accusing him of hacking.

(Gwarh) #35

I bet most of them aren’t kids and are adults, as you need a Credit Cart of a Pay Pal account to pay for these cheats.

(wittyChicken) #36

The one where the enemy just walks and everyone on his screen dies from headshots without the hacker firing a single bullet. It’s hilarious and sad at the same time.

(Sinist) #37

I hate the closet cheaters the most. The ones that try not to get caught. The ones that pretend to be really good legitimate players.

(p_pina) #38

My pet hate are the aimbotters who jump and weave around spastically while hs all of the time … Not to be confused with those few who are just good.

(PurpleNurple) #39

A lot of cheaters don’t realize that playing legit and meeting players is 1000x more fun than cheating. The best part about multi player games is finding like minded people to have good times with so I kind of feel bad for those misled individuals even when they’re toggling/going blatant and destroying my face. You guys have to remember that they are human beings and sometimes the best approach when meeting a cheater is convincing them to stop their ways and play legit. This is a f2p game and banning them doesn’t help much when they could reroll in minutes.

Yall can shun me for this but in a free to play game the best way to stop a cheater is confrontation and converting them. On the last game I played I got through to around 10 low level players that I know were cheating because their aim was godly but their game sense was horrid. Most of them just wanted someone to play with and were tired of getting stomped by better players so my friends and I instead taught them how to play legit. That is how you stop cheaters. Banning them is only temporary if it’s a f2p game. Obviously this won’t work on everyone, but it’s worth a try.
