Let’s talk about it
Which fov is better?
Depends. Max FOV is great for close quarters, and lower is better for long range engagements. I personally have mine set to max.
I find that the better you get the smaller fov you can permit yourself. If you have enough awareness you will be fine in close quarters, whereas huge fov makes long range fighting impossible.
It mostly depends of your tastes IMO. I run my fov at 90, and I find it nice for a bit everything.
Its all down to personal taste, I just left mine at the stock 65 because I feel changing it to 90 makes it go too fisheye for my tastes
well that is something that really really depends on the player and the gamestyle. U have to figure out which is good for u by truing them out step by step. For me is 85 so far, but i strongly think that i will start to raise it.
Used to max it, tried lowering it because aiming at larger things is easier. Think I’m on 74 now, it looks strange but w/e.
I prefer 110-120, but DB only allows up to 100… So I keep it on that >.< However anything below 90 and I’ll start to feel really motion sick, it sucks… ;-;
Wish they’d raise the max FOV to 120 D: But then, that’s just me being picky, lmao!

DB uses vfov, you’re talking about hfov. 78vfov = 110hfov. No games use 120vfov, 120vfov would be 144hfov, which is ridiculously fisheyed.
I think UE3 is hard capped at ~130hfov anyway? (DB lets you set up to 129)
I raised it to 100 in the beginning and got used to it. Tomorrow I’ll lower it to 65, play a few games and report on the results
