I was just going to prove my right vs a first poster about RAID, but the topic (ETmoves 2) seems to have vanished of this forum while I drove home
Maybe it exceeded the max_bumps or it was too offtopic?

This isnât a hardware forum, sorry - I deleted the last argument about RAID for the same reason (in addition to it descending into a flame-fest :))
The guy who made the post was Ironman, registered under the cunning alternative name of namnori. If you recall, he was the guy arguing with you last time, too. I donât know why he waited this long to post what was essentially the same thing I deleted last time, but there you go.
Hope that clears things up.
Well, it would have been nicer to at least just lock this thread, and not delete the posts in it?
From what I can see, discussion of software/hardware seems to be okay in relation to ET/gaming - what is so different about driver issues, GFX cards, network problems and setting up a RAID? Itâs not as important as those things, but it may very well be a topic some people heard/are curious about?
The way I see it, the troll has won.
I only left the first post so I could answer Sick Boyâs question. Sorry
Questions about gaming related hardware are cool, but an argument about whether RAID is any good or not doesnât really belong here, whether its the original thread or a continuation of it (which this thread ultimately was).
Nahh, itâs not like googling for âraid comparisonâ and quoting two bits from the first link was hard work
So it was that Ironman chappie after all, oh how we have missed his ducelt tones :banghead:
Yeah, let him back in. His drivel can be quite amusing and he defeats himself with his own arguments most of the time. I miss him.
How did you know that Ironman registered under another name? I just want to know.
