I dont want u to feel any worse but doesnt it say disarming dynamite?
When you wish you could kick yourself in the balls...
Yeah the “disarming dynamite” message which appears for the whole length of the disarming action kinda gives it away for me.
Bastards! :bash:
Hmmm… I must admit that I never noticed that “arming/defusing dynamite” message before (at least not in a conscious manner).
This is extremely embarrasing…
I guess it’s time to give up ET and try my luck at multiplayer tic-tac-toe… :moo:
Yesterday I played a 12 x 12 game on Battery on a public server in germany. I was Allied. The Axis had really beaten us, on the previous map. FIGHT! The game started. I was engineer. We fixed the ramp on the first attack, somehow. I ran up, went left, down the trench and into the main building. Phew. It was just 60 sec. on the clock. Ran to gun controls, jumped down - and died. Apparently I had just 5-8 HP left and couldn’t survive the fall. What a noobish mistake!
Learning by doing.

Last night, on Oasis, I’m an Allied Engineer, around the top end of the compund facing the anti-tank guns. We’d already blown the South one I think. I’d seen several Axis up around there so I think it’ll be great and sneaky to lob a grenade into the gun room so…klick…klick…klick…throw…You have killed TEAMMATE whoever, who just happened to be an Engineer about ready to plant. We ended up losing.
But I made myself feel better by grenading some usefless covert fuck who thought that arming the Courtyard MG was really useful when the tank wasn’t past the second barrier.
Once time on fuel depot i thought i’d have a REALLY big advantage if i could get into the tunnel before anyone else— so to make sure i get in quick i stand RIGHT IN FRONT of the grate waiting for the tank to blow it…
I’m providing cover behind a team mate running with the 2nd radar part-
in front of him an axis player is taking aim… funny how my panser shot didn’t magically swerve AROUND my team mate and hit the axis guy-
humph.
WHY WHY OH WHY do i still on occasion plant a mine and thennnnnnnnnn
take
one
step
forward? :weird:
I’ve done the exact inverse of that…I’m playing Axis, Allies get a plant on the south gun. I race over there to take out the engy guarding his dyno, but unbeknownst to me, our engy had already taken him out and was in the process of defusing. He winds up eating my panzer. Oops. Thankfully there was another engy there to save it.
Nowadays I always check the command map to see if my teammates are in there before I fire blind

I should probably start doing that but meh. We’ll see…
Well, Im on Desert Temple 3 as an allie sniper. I’m looking through my scope at some really good guy who is messing up the axis com post all by himself.
He was hiding, planting dyna, waiting, killing off some axis, blew their compost, waited, built our compost (this is well before the tank is even over the bridge), waited for more axis, killed some axis, waited
I was really impressed and wanted to protect/ help him…
Yes, I managed to snipe him in stead of the axis
 :eek2: :eek3:
:banghead:
he complained - I certainly don’t blame him.
My only defence is that I was learning sniping. I’ll guess I’ll go practise some more
