When is the suck going to end?

Oh my gawd datz crazeee da g4me suxz?! Honestly, the crying is getting old. If you don’t like the game, trade it in, and be on your way. The community will be better without you. Also, your use of the word “retard” may offend some of the other whiners on the forum, as many of them ride the short bus. Instead, next time I would go for “special people” or “permanently unsmart”.

PS - before whining about the lag try out different playlists. I play daily in completely full games with no lag and it is amazing.

(Bakercompany) #42

Yeah i’d like to keep the space on these forums for people who actually want to see Brink fixed and improved. Not for pure moaning and groaning. We are trying to accomplish things on here.

Then again, never feed the trolls…

(RobbedCustomer) #43

Yeah it’s typical of a release like this to get its own defense force, happy to argue with anyone regardless of how informed they are or what they are even trying to argue about. I mean damn us really for trying to get the game to work for us! We are such bastards XD

I think your the “permanently unsmart” person here really. Come on what is so difficult to understand? The game is broken for a lot of people, get over it pal and go enjoy your working copy of the game! Jeez you’d think the people who have working copies would play it, I know i’m trying to but it’s very annoying!

(Bakercompany) #45

I’ve actually spent more time on these forums than playing the game.

Because I can’t play the game at the moment. Please help the Xbox Splash Damage…holding onto my copy in faith. Please don’t let it turn into a payment on Gears 3.

(KAS--Will) #46

Aye.

Hey, while we’re at it we can also open up a category for not being able to voice your opinion.

I am voicing my opinion moron, you’re the one who has a problem with it, now hurry up and get your nose back up that ass.

(sereNADE) #48

with the name, “robbedcustomer” who else but fanboys would respond to your “legitimate” complaints. you seem to be enjoying the discussion so i guess your 50 bucks got you some worthwhile threadtime. there are users kind enough to help with issues or provide information which could prove useful. try picking a name that isn’t hostile to good faith and willingness to be of assistance. QQ

(RobbedCustomer) #49

Wow so blissfully up your own ass, try reading my OP you might actually notice that it didn’t cost me 50 bucks as i’m in the UK ha. Sorry if you don’t agree with my name, doesn’t excuse the fanboys coming out the attack me when expressing my valid concerns that all over console plays are expressing. Simply enough mate, if you don’t like it, don’t read it. Understand?

(DeadEye) #50

They released a game with some problems, since then they have done at least 3 updates that have fixed problems.

Stop crying, obviously they’re trying to fix their mistakes.

Jeez you guys must do a lot of crying if you think i’m crying over a game. No. Just looking to get what a paid for and i’m positive you’d do the same if you were having issues with something you purchased. Like I have said to all you fanboys calling me a whiner for using these forums for some good, go get bent. Understand? :stroggtapir:

When you say they’ve released 3 updates that have fixed problems, I presume you mean they have released 1 update that has done nothing but disabled shadows and not fixed anything?

Is all good fanboys saying “We’re here to try and make the game better, not just whine” but it’s people actively complaining about a game that makes it improve. If everyone did nothing but say that Splash Damage are trying their best and we should just leave them alone nothing would get done. It’s that kind of mentality that makes games ultimately fail, a few “elitist” fans who do nothing but big up the shoddy work of their favourite developers (and remember, they are a company that’s looking for money, they’re supplying a product that’s been paid for, not struggling artists) who are then surprised when nobody plays it and it falls into disuse.

Make **** less Jenky!

(sereNADE) #58

your words speak for themselves. my eyes rolled plenty, believe me.

(RobbedCustomer) #59

Groovy pal, you done? As were trying to get some response from the devs to know they’re fixing whats broke, what are you doing other than moaning at us? It’s not time to give them a pat on the back for releasing a shoddy game, but I will happily do that if they patch it in the next week so I can start enjoying the game. Why do you have such a problem with me wanting a working copy of the game?

(HomersGhost) #60

This thread is pretty ridiculous and really should be locked. All you guys are just throwing feces at each other.

That said, I do empathize with RobbedCustomer. Brink was released in a terrible state for consoles. You can’t argue otherwise. When it works, it works wonderfully but that hasn’t been the general experience. The lag makes the game simply unplayable and I certainly didn’t sign up for 4x4 gameplay.

Left 4 Dead 2 was released in a similar state. The online lag was horrific at launch for consoles. I gave Valve the benefit of the doubt and they ended up making it work. I will do the same for SD but my patience is limited.

Honestly, I’m pinning the blame on Bethesda. I can’t believe anyone at SD with half a brain wanted this to ship as is. I think Bethesda wanted to avoid the COD vs Battlefield melee as well as not compete against Rage. And by their track record, they seem okay releasing half baked games. New Vegas was an abonimation. Some of the Fallout3 DLC was horrifically bugged and never patched. And now Brink.

Sigh, hopefully, we’ll have a patch this week but the clock is ticking. Duke Nukem is just around the corner and while the multiplayer may not be very good, I’m guessing you can at least play it.
