EDIT: I missed out Brink Lore (story) as an option. Mention it in your post if it’s your favourite.
As title suggests.
Take your pick, brothers!

That was a tough decision.
But the top shelf to me is the objective-based progressive scenario. Of course it’s the same after you’ve played it ten or more times, but it still feels much better than just capturing a flag. It makes missions more fleshy and interesting.
The other things are really nice too though. What I DIDN’T read but find really good is the setting and background story~

oh, darn it! I knew I’d miss something important.
Add a +1 to your post for Brink lore if that’s what floats your boat the best.
i went for smart. i love other aspects, too, though. but the smart really stands out and is something new thats never done before. i hope every future shooter has it.
i think it´s hard to decide
I like all of it
Best maybe the aesthetic design :3
It look so … pseudo-real
But the Story is good too , i enjoyed it :3
Not easy to pick out what I like the most, but I ended up picking gunplay. I really like the feel of the weapons and the bullet spread.
Really hard choice, torn between map design/gunplay/SMART/aesthetics. Went with SMART as it’s one thing that I’ll find really annoying to not have in other shooters.
You forgot the EPIC music. The game’s soundtrack is awesome. You can’t argue with that!
Yeah hard to choose one of those, but the object focus changing during the round is what makes the game for me.
I know the following points aren’t major, but for me they are what makes Brink special
-being able to play piano tunes whilst writhing in pain on the ground
I voted for customization because I dont really like SMART when it automatically throws me off a ledge and catches at a fence I run past by. Also the twitching when running on small debris really suks.
SMART is really nice, but the maps don’t quite follow it…
and then again, I wish that the body types were selected just as tattos, and are unchangeable…
Customization, although Obj based is so so near and SMART is a valiant third. i chose this cos i hardly ever play a game where i can customize a lot and i can get obj based in the BF series and i can get SMART(like) in the Assasins creed and Mirrors Edge, but them all in one package, with guns makes my heart swoon ./
I voted for customization, since I really like thinking up new looks, skill builds and when to use weapon mods.
For every times SMART made you do something silly, in other shooters you’d be snagged 10 times on a table or something that in BRINK you just effortlessly vault over, not to mention sliding under stuff.
And you have to admit, damn walljumping is cool.
This.
The amount of times I’ve not been caught on a twig in BC2 and died as a result, I couldn’t even begin to count.
The amount of times I’ve run up to a 4 foot high barrier in a game where my avatar is a 6 foot tall killing machine and been unable to progress is just as uncountable.
SMART = awesome. It might not be absolutely perfect yet, but it’s a massive leap in the right direction.
I am so SMART, S.M.R.T, uh ummm wait i mean S.M.A.R.T.
+1 to anyone you get the referance!
After having SMART for a few weeks now i find it hard to play many other FPSs, i end up pressing L2 (ps3) by instinct only to end up running face first into an object or tossing a grenade at nothing (or having it bounce back in my face).
You should’ve made “character appearance customization” and “ability&weapon customization” two separate options. I don’t really care about the former, but really like the latter.
