That’s the Welsh, we prefer big hairy cows!
What's your favorite archetype ?
Actually, a Scottish-themed archetype would be pretty badass. Like if you could rock a kilt and dirk.
It really doesn’t even matter. Its my opinion, period. Feel free to have yours.
Yeah i have even noticed it in New Zealand. It seems that people recently are obsessed with remainin 100% PC at all times
Once again, I never said the archetype was racist. That’s why I restated my other post.
Yes, as it derived from gangsta rap and rap music originally came out of the American ghettos. And ghettos have a much higher proportion of black residents than suburbs.
Rap music is not predominantly black because it’s born in the ghettos. The (popular) artists are nearly exclusively black males because that’s what the entertainment industry brands as authentic, along with content limited to sex, violence, drugs, crime and consumerism. Hip-hop and rap has originates in the african/samerican/caribbean musical and dance traditions and was born in lower income communities because of it has a low monetary barrier of entry. The range of (non-industry backed) artists is no longer limited by those origins and actual ‘authentic’ content was / is often highly political.
Edit:
Yes, that is correct. I was pointing out that the archetype was designed to be black because there is a physical appearance that is designed to go along with the clothes that is black. I was disputing your assertion that the archetype design was limited to articles of clothing. That is all.
Ooo like Billy Connoly in Boondock Saints…
Why does everyone jump to “The G” being a gangsta? Maybe he likes his underwear wedged up his ass… keeps him mean and therefore a good fighter…
Bug for security don’t know for rebels.
Who thinks brink will kill cod??

Lol maybe because “G” stands for gangsta?
You’ve never heard the phrase “She’s wearing a g” ??
Also it seems satire is lost on some

I know what you were saying, but it was still stupid, and if it was satire it was pretty poorly done…
Oh yes… I forgot that you are the authority on all things involving the human arts.
Get a life buddy

RE: Bodytype (a few corpses back)
From this preview
The tools at your disposal are more than enough to create a character unlike any other you will come across. Be careful though, some things you do will be permanent. Once you apply a tattoo there is no removing it. That’s right, no laser removal for the evidence of your last bad decision. Another permanent placement is your body type, which you have 3 options for. Skinny guys run faster and jump higher, while the heavier guys move slower but are stronger.
So this suggests you CAN’T switch between rounds then?

That’s superb. I hope it’s true.
the previews were all done with just ONE map, no way to change bodytype between maps, if there’s only ONE map
so they think it’s permanent, I thought I spelled that out to the other “pseudo intellectual” earlier
Part of the confusion in this thread stems from the fact that the character customisation video released Way Back Then referred to faces as ‘Archetypes’, which isn’t entirely accurate (and has since gone away along with the entire interface). As stated a couple of times in this thread, the archetypes are personalities that might inhabit the Ark, and you use them to create your own, unique look in the game.
Regarding body types, you start out as a medium, and unlock the option to go skinny and heavy later in the game. This is not a permanent choice and can be changed in between missions (but not during).
Lastly, please keep things civil. If you don’t have anything useful to add the discussion, it’s best not to add anything at all.
