some archetypes haven’t been unveiled… so can’t make the decision.
anyway… I’m going to create the character to look like a friend of mine that performed parkour and was fps gamer, it’s sort of tribute. RIP Maser
From the present archetypes these are my favorite
Security: The look
Resistance: The Dude
I want to make a character that is as weird looking as possible though.
He’s got to be weird!
from the archetypes released so far my fav is the look.
but im still wondering if this one will be one of the 3 missing security archetypes, since that mask and hood looks awesome

Ok… seems many did not realize what archetypes stand for… . . …
Archetypes are kinds of faces, so there are 10-20 faces to choose from and then you can change them slightly (bandages, scars, etc). I’m almost sure of this. Aka “Your Base Face”
So the ones that have the mask on… you don’t know the archetype . . .

No, Archetypes are not just faces. They are general themes, assignable to each article of clothing and some other customizable aspects of the chars.
No! XD
After a little research… found it fast… thanks to H0RSE

If you check out the character customization vid on the official site, you can see that “The Look” and some other archetypes appear in a few different option boxes while they’re running through the process.
NOTE: When creating your character, some things are permanent, meaning you cannot change them later. Richard Ham explains it:
“When you first create a character, you choose stuff about him that’s permanent, which you can’t change later (skin colour, voice, face, tattoos & scars). Afterwards, you get to choose two outfits for him: one that he’ll wear when he’s playing in a security team, and one when he’s in a resistance team.”
- Richard Ham
* - Over time you can build a look that fits your method of play, gamer personality, or personal style - allowing for the appearance of your character to be truly unique.

Right. Because NO developer, EVER, not ONCE, in history, has ever changed anything between the development and release of the game.
Back to my original point, archetypes are not just faces.
how are you going to upload those images to everyone else’s game ?
everything else is clothing, you can’t wear pants on your head, so the engine already has that image correctly
that’s why you get multiple characters
What’s the difference between loading preset clothing images and preset tattoos onto everyone else’s game? It’s all coded into theirs as well.
