It means it is using UDP. (“User Datagram Protocol”) As the name says, it means the server sends “datagrams” to all clients. (Think of them as short messages.)

Your server can also be configured to use the TCP/IP protocal and will then show [TCP]. However, TCP/IP causes a little more overhead because it controls the flow, the order of messages, error checking and so on. Because games mostly can miss a few packets, UDP is preferred as it’s slightly faster.

most of the time its the admins that make all this difference i find :smiley: thats how my clan [RmC] became populated because the admins know what theyre doing. it also helps to just always be on the server. if you have a slower connection this might now work but go and get ETMinimizer and jsut sit on your server… i used to do that
