im sick of my stupid computer stuffing up my most prized games
this time… after about 2 mins of ET running an error comes up with that “end Program” bull… does any one know whats going on. it has somethin 2 do with
C:\DOCUME~1\James\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER4A.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt
i dont get it
lots of things come up if you put appcompat.txt into a google search, but basically it looks like that is just where a log is supoposably kept of the error… this thread is a fairly typical example.
most of the problems seemed to center around drivers. driver incompatibilities or dodgy ram. Nothing new there then.
what drivers are you running? detonator 5x.xx by any chance?
u need to actually get some more info about that error before anyone can help you
