Whats going on with the servers?

Are the fixing the online server or something? No servers are showing up, and I’m pretty sure there is at least one server on all the time.

It looks like the master server is unavailable for the moment.

This happens, but not very often. Either play on your bookmarked servers or grab some external server browser. I think both GameSpy or ASE maintain some kind of cache of the master list, GS even have their own master server.

My booked marked server always vanishes whenever the master server is unavailable.

My server list is now empty for at least 6 hours.

There’s nothing wrong with the ET ingame browser. It works fine. id Software’s master server is down. That’s the problem. In fact, all their servers appear to be down. The id RTCW and Q3 masters are both down, and www.idsoftware.com is down as well. It seems that they’re either having some major problems, or doing some maintenance.

I can see server just fine in ASE, can’t see anything through the ingame browser though…
