the thing that makes this game so awesome is teamplay.
first: you cant do everything alone.
second: if you want to win, you better be ready to do everything alone, hehehe (and dont forget your team can also play against you).
so, to win, is important to do 2 things:
no other game i have seen enforces teamplay like this. makes this game look almost like soccer.
The greatest thing about ETQW is that most teams generally do the same thing over and over again which means that it’s up to you to find the soft spots and press as hard as you can on it. A supply crate in a different place to which all your sheep team mates flock to, or an unconventional turret or forward spawn capture can really throw the entire opponent team in disarray.
The greatest satisfaction comes from when you get everyone to fight over your red herring and forget about what they’re supposed to do.

its called tactic and fun
and probably supposed to be happen when Activision tweaked gameplay a bit in ETQW latest patches. i guess.
The only way Activision ever influenced ETQW gameplay in patches was cutting financial support after 1.5, lol.
and thats AWESOME !!
cuz in EACH patch, gameplay was driven toward casuals more and more, along with [essentials]bug-fixes and exploits removal.
mine icons, indestructible MCP, armament nerfing/tweaking &etc/whatever.
