And what will happens with Brink after…
Naaahhh! What a strange pandorama!
yeah yeah will buy a 10€ kb and play the same **** over and over, because I’m a freakin addict
well, the min. system requirements for BRINK must be a joke…
:eek::eek:
My old lady (DELL XPS 710) does have a Duo 6600 @2,4GHz/8800GTX/2GB Ram and Win XP(SP3) …but I guess it will run like ****… hopefully they release a demo so people with older systems can try it out :o
Since my new car eats nearly all the money I keep waiting and hoping for “Return to Castle Wolfenstein live” (free to play browser game)…lol … Quake wars is still awesome too …
Pity! (
I bet that at may 20th every brink player returns to ETQW because they dont wanna play crap …
Don’t think so. Sure brink might be hard to handle at first, but we will surely get used to it.
Some ppl just don’t like changes. I quit COD2 when QW was released. I quit QW when BFBC2 was released. I’ll quit BF when BRINK hit’s the streets and I still see my old cod2 friends playing only COD2. Thats like 6 years only 1 game with 8 maps or something. I don’t get it. I’ve asked some ppl why do you still play this. The answer was something like “I’m too old for changes”.
At least it has players and some competition (clanbase, ESL). Well I have to say BC2 is really bad for competition. lol. I have high hopes for Brink. Already preordered.
This just simply means, your friends are just too old not for changes but for competition (which removes justification for switching to another game) - just like me, that Bob guy next door and many others here
Also, very important is to maintain at least some friends from the current game, and since most of us have VERY different tastes in games, everybody chooses often a different game to move on to and you are left alone friendless. That’s scary
And I am not even talking about the fact that with each modern MP fps game, the mp gameplay gets worse and worse, so sticking to older games is often a solution.
Flood on. Piece
i’ll probably stick with et:qw because simply no other game can hold my interest. I’ve tried going into COD4/COD:BO and had a major disliking for them. Tried C:SS and was fun, but frustrating with the weird aiming and gun spray. Not to sure if i’ll make it into brink, need a new HDD, not sure if comp can run it, and although i like the concept (free-running = awesome, FPS = awesome) im not sure how well it will play together. I’ll wait for reviews and ask mates how it is before i buy.
probably.
for example im playing VR-based games[like OFP:R and etc(Arma 2 present)]for 10 yrs.
point is online scale also contribute to popularity and vice versa. both FarCry and Arma2 had laughably low plrs count now. or how much players play U2 XMP today ? triebes 4 anyone ? TF1 ?
