Fall, undeniably the greatest season in the gaming calendar, is upon us and has begun to pour the annual harvest of blockbuster games all over our consoles/PCs/phones/abacuses. Ironically enough, the latest game to grip the office is Mount & Blade: Warband, with medieval armies being fielded regularly at lunch. Halo: Reach’s Firefight, Fifa 11, and the ever-popular Left 4 Dead 2 round out our regular midday entertainment, though that’s by no means all we’re playing these days.

Surprisingly few Mafia players, I was expecting most people to pick that up, considering the hype.

I play Battlefield:BC2 and L4D2 every weekend. Will start playing Halo:Reach now too, as that was just gifted to me.

Pinball FX2 is also coming out next Wednesday and I am gonna be jonesing for a spot on the leaderboards with that one. Oh, and the Red Dead Undead Nightmare, baby!

i’m addicted to plant vs. zombies recently. never have played a simple family friendly game that addicting. :stroggbanana:

but good to see thats most SD developers are so busy at work, so have [spare]time only to play console stuff.

p.s.
and good to see, that SD PR manager PR-omote another ZM title.
but i sure, New Vegas and [few[2 ? 5 ?] guys from former Black Isle team]its dev team well deserve that.

So based on Olivier’s recommendation I checked out Game Dev Story on the iPhone, which is basically addiction in a box/on a phone. There’s an entire Saturday I’ll never get back. :slight_smile: It’s a fantastic little game where you manage a game study and get to come up with all manner of crazy game genres to sell to the hungry masses - check it out if you haven’t already.

PvZ is a fantastic game. I played though it in one sitting with my girlfriend, handing the controller back and forth.

I just played Alan Wake. I have no idea why I didn’t try it sooner, I thought it was brilliant.

I also play all the blockbusters. COD BO, Halo Reach. I plan on purchasing Dead Space 2 in Jan. and of course Killzone 3, Marvel vs Capcom 3.

I will definitely rent Crysis 2, Bulletstorm, LBP2.

I think those titles will hold me over until Brink comes out. I am also using my tax return to buy a new machine so I can get back into some PC gaming. I plan on buying Brink for the PS3 and PC, simply because I have more friends on those formats. I love my 360 equally. :cool:
