Jahahahaaa! must be included, if only as an easter egg
:moo:
And I want to add this team-based voice command: “Wait!”. Might seem too simple but I have often run behind a team-mate (newbie) who runs too far ahead. E.g. on radar, as Allies, when a team-mate runs with obj towards a truck that is surrounded by 2-3 Axis medics and FieldOps. S/he is doomed.
Not sure a “Wait!” would help in all cases, but there IS a need (for me) for that voice command.

Why not rather have “Wait [teammate’s name]”? Should be possible with some variables.
What I miss is for medics/field ops, when somebody is calling for them, that you can respond
-On my way
or
-Im down (now I have to shout this over TS)
(i had a few more listed somewhere, I maybe post them later)

If someone needs a medic, I mostly answer “I’m a medic” to note that I’m heading there, or a “Where to?”
I really think we should have a “Enemy in the sky!” Voice chat
Well, I remember the Good-old-day when I was new to WolfET
I’ll be happy as long as we have “ze enemy is vegan” and “call in aunt hilary”
Some local only chats - only played within 25-50 feet of player, with no chat text:
“Got you camping sniper, eat my knife!” - right before gutting that pesky sniper
“Move, your blocking my MG”
“Over Here!” - usually used to taunt someone missing you
“Missed Me!”
I think the V-say commands are quite sufficient most of the time. I’ve had some moments where I wish I had a certain command, but at the moment I can’t recall what they were. :bored:
On the subject of the Quick Chat(or V-say), I have an issue regarding NumPad support.
I’m toying with the idea of getting a seperate NumPad to use at LANs when there isn’t enough space for an entire keyboard. I’ve managed to map pretty much everything I need in a satisfying manner so I can play without being crippled.
But I haven’t managed to figure out how to get the game to detect the numpad buttons as “numbers” and not num_del,num_uparrow etc.
Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
And perhaps most importantly, to the guys at splashdamage, would you be so kind and concider this issue and work on a solution for ET:QW?
(Sorry for kind of straying off-topic a bit in my first post on the forums.)
