You Don’t Know Jack… until I run out of questions.
What To Play While We Wait
How about Pinball FX2? (for the 360 gamers, or Zen Pinball for the PS3 gamers)
Of course, since Brink won’t be released until after March 20th sometime (and possibly as late as the end of June - if they can stick to their new release date), there is always Battlefield:BC2 Vietnam.
Finally, if the game is released after April 5th, and you are a 360 gamer, there is Gears of War 3. The MP promises to be a dog’s breakfast of bad design choices and broken coding, but the SP will offer 4 player co-op and promises to bring the pain…in a good way.
I hope that either Splash Damage is able to bring Brink to the gamers before the release of Gears 3 after a wildly successful beta offering,
OR
that Bethesda and Splash Damage get on the right page and do one heck of a fantastic job of marketing Brink so as persuade gamers to save their money for Gears 3 and spend it on Brink. This of course, is only relevant to the 360 crowd.
Either way, I hope that while we are waiting for Brink to be released, we get to spend some of that time helping Splash Damage squash bugs and test gameplay balance in a wonderful beta!
This week: Battlefield Bad Company 2.
Next week: MOH (but am really only getting it 'cause I traded in enough stuff to get it free)
Week after: Fallout New Vegas
Sometime in “winter”: BFBC2: Vietnam
Also: Borderlands (DLC4 last week)
You find it boring? I thought the game, while light on sandbox, was a lot more engaging in narrative than many if not all games I’ve played (I don’t really do RPG so it might be my blindspot).
Now that it came out, a good game to play before brink is…
TOO KAAAAAAAAAAAAY
If anyone has been watching the multiplayer vids for Assassin’s Creed 3 it seems like a training program for operatives.
I’m stocking up on airsoft ammo, doing extra training for parkour and creating boxes and cover from scrapwood
“EVERYBODY’S WORKING FOR THE WEEKEND!”
what about “old good” ETQW or even ET ?
p.s.
tried also K&L2DD online and StarCraft2. IMO, not worth time.
also good option are Arma2 online, if you have good PC[with at least 4x-core CPU, RV770/GTX275 or above GFX card, and 4 Gb RAM at least].
thats strongly depend what are you need[ex-actly]: 1. “just kill some time”. or 2. PLAY !
Arma 2 is the best choice, since it provides access into the pathetic war geek realm.
Listening to their chatter there as pasttime is priceless.

actually VBS2 was fit FAR more into THAT description, but luckily, most consumers, lack access to that “product”
and yes, BIS position that thing as Simulator, not as “shooter in common sense”.
and look at community activity - f.@% new addon almost every week !!![or even many/per day, in “hot time”]
drawback is, as said above, System Requirements, beating Crysis[let alone crippled Warfare] and Metro 2033, together at good GFX, viewdistance, physics, settings.

I hate PC gamers when they get all elitist. “console to PC port, dumbed down kiddie camp fest”
Console gamers are no dumber or less sophisticated than PC gamers, and all platforms have casual gamers as well as cheaters. PC gamers like these need to get off there high horse. PC’s are no better or worse than any console.
