What time most people play?

The only problem I have with the new “all all can do all” is the repair thing. Not so much from a gameplay POV, but more from a logical/aestehical POV. It’s not too hard to swallow, that now all mercs know how to plant a C4 charge, since it seems to be a quite simplistic task; but repairing the EV as a Medic is basically like an Engie who’d heal people; it just doesn’t feel right and I kinda don’t want that in the game; it just screams “makeshift-solution” and “looks” ugly. Repairing should be Engie exclusive.*

Aside from the repair issue that I have, I really like how DB plays atm. The aiming is very nice, jumping feels good and the ironsights(plus the visual hit-indication) also works very well.

*or the Engie could drop a toolbox(special ability for Engie 4?) per match(like ammo packs/medi packs) and whoever picks it up can also repair for a certain amount of time, or till he gets killed.

After proficiencies you may be surprised… pretty sure it will end up as a hybrid system, which would be nice.

At the end of the day I feel like I’m pissing in the wind because I believe there are more reasons behind this change than simply ‘we think it’ll be more fun’. Call me a cynic, but I don’t see it switching back unless there’s a severe flaw in the system, and regardless of how much I don’t enjoy it, there is no actual game breaking flaw to it.

I usually play tuesday till sunday, mostly after 8pm CEST till 10pm CEST, maybe longer on weekends :)[/QUOTE]

Cool, same here  CU online!

I’m online forums 24/7. Jk, but lately I only have the time to play weekend drafts. You might want to look into that if your interested in balanced and organized games with VOIP. The specific dates and sign ups are usually made available in the comp section of the forum, though it’s much more of a public service atm.

Haha, it seems like that

I’d love to play scrims, only point is: I don’t have a team…

You dont need one, just check the competitive boards from time to time. There are often draft matches or things like that and basically all you need to do is sign up. Then on the night the teams are picked from the pool of players. The only tricky thing is you need to have a few hours free so you don’t leave halfway through a match.

I don’t know anybody from the alpha (apart from the select few who still frequent the W:ET boards) and I’ve had a blast participating in 3 draft cup/match thingys so far.

Cool nice to know. I’ll definitely sign up for the next one.
Is there some kind of skill needed to participate? Or isn’t that important for now? Cause I’m still new to the game, played for a week now and I’m still not used to the gameplay.
