Around what time most people play?
I was wondering. I mean, I’m online right now, but no-one is in the servers.

Can we get the number of players for that graph too? Also a comparison of players pre-patch and post-patch would be a really cool statistic to have (also relative numbers of alpha testers at that point in time. No need to post in this forum if you don’t want to, will respect confidentiality if you are able to share in PM.

I can’t put numbers on that graph, typically the peak is around a couple of full servers though :wink:

Daily player numbers are still significantly higher than pre-patch levels but we do usually see a large bump with every update release that slowly declines afterwards. Looking at the current trend I’d expect player numbers to be higher than pre-patch (if we didn’t release another new update) for another 3 weeks at least.

PS. The last wave of invites was sent out mid-July, so the player-base hasn’t really grown since then.

Seems to be never currently :frowning: Have tried all times of day (6pm up to 11pm GMT) and always empty servers the last week or so (the last time I got a game was last Weds).

Try to come in the evening, around 8/9 pm (GMT +1). There are always players online then!

Will be better when the server browser is added back to the launcher. At times I just can’t be bothered loading the game up just to see empty servers.

I agree with you.
Take League of Legends as example. They’ve split the game from the ‘server browser’ (different, but still…) / profile options / ‘barracks’ (named otherwise ofc.) / and last but not least, the online store.

This is probably the most annoying thing, but it is going to be fixed. I’ve tried at 8/9pm and always empty then as well, I must be in a parallel universe :).

Can only speak for myself but the latest changes, optimization issues & gameplay wise, don’t make me want to start the game or play more than one map anymore.

I still try to play from time to time in the evenings but the temporary in-game browser doesn’t help with my lazyness to check the servers. TS3 feels a bit empty too, a lot of the usuals are on holiday.

Still it would be weird to have empty servers in the evenings, like two months ago, with all the new players that got invited.

I usually play at 8pm CEST but it’s summertime which means a lot BBQ going on (not playing BBQ :wink:)
It bothers me too that I have to log in, start the game and then decide if i play or not. Would be better if i start the launcher, see how many ppl are playing and on which server. So I can run it in the background if I’m not playing but with the current setting I have to start the game and disconnect again. And if it’s running bad, I forget to launch teh game to see if someone is playing and I go watch TV or play ETQW :confused:

If your unhappy that’s fine, and you should make your thoughts known in a constructive feedback post. What you shouldn’t do is just post loads of negativity in every thread which helps absolutely nobody.

witch hunting ? just because I’m not agree with you and just telling some hard reality ?
I make some feedback already tons of times explaining why I dislike some strange choices and what I like (yes there is some stuff I like just let me remember what) but it’s like farting in the wind. So yes i’m frustrated about the way DB turn, like a lot of peoples. And most of them just leaving without telling anything cause they are just bored for the same reasons. I have a big ****ing mouth yeah I know but it’s like that. If only people who like DB as it is stay on the forum where is the deal ?

So I think people will agree that a out-of-game game-browser should be created by SD. Or at least it would be great if they did.
I think it’ll make the game meet more of the today’s standards.

Edit: Btw guys, we must not forget that this game is in Alpha. Which means: Lots of testing out, trying new things, changes and giving feedback.
So of course you won’t be happy with all of the changes, but instead of whining about it, come with good ideas how to make the game better.

You’re not telling any hard reality any more, you’re regurgitating the same nonsense over and over again. You’ve made feedback, SD have read it, what good does repeating the same crap over again then do after that? You think you writing your dislikes automatically creates a new update there and then? Do you think patches just magic themselves out of thin air, especially when they’ve said they’ll be at gamescom this week? You’ve stated your piece, have some self respect and don’t turn into ‘that guy’ that then just posts “its crap” over and over and people just start to ignore… it gets boring really quickly. You don’t have a big mouth because you’re firing nothing but blanks, it’s just an annoying mouth you have now. I’m not saying don’t post, just post with some integrity and substance instead of the usual bull**** that’s bringing absolutely nothing to the forum… because if that’s all you’re going to do then yes, i’d rather just the people that liked it stayed.
