What on earth happened here?

I mean just after the game was released, these forums were a place of serious discussion and idea tossing. There were some trolls yes (Starbucks and bogs mainly.) but the overall atmosphere was a one of expertise and devoutation. Everything changed after the game was burned to PC Gamers cd-roms, nowadays the forum is ruled by those ex-CSers who couldn´t find a MP3 from the internet without a PC support line.

I mean seriously where are the “Considerations about…” and “I think that…” - threads. Sure we have patches, but a game can never be perfect, nor should there ever be a game-forum without suggestions and ideas.

This is not a rant, at least I do not want it to be. This is just a what the -BEEP- happened thread. Sure I enjoy playing with you guys, and I love ET, but still I would like to discuss the game.

Oh and by the way, before you start flaming on me, check the date of registration. And for further information: I personally downloaded the game two (2) days after the release. So if you come boasting how you managed to find this game from the PC-Gamers CD, then you should prepare to be laughed at.

I seriously hope that the game will be further developed and that new ideas are to be discussed, other than “add weapon X please”.

In hope of a better and wider discussion.

I agree… the content of this forum is lacking compared to what it used to be, but then not many posts are being made now… its kinda dying really :confused:

Probably has to do with the fact that the game is out and pretty well established. Its doubtful any future patch would do something as drastic as add a new weapon or totally change a skill. And while we all have our wishlist of some tweak we want in the game, the general feeling is that this is how the game is going to be and we’re pretty much used to it.
