This poll needs Dome on it. Badly.
What map you hate the most?
On balance I dislike Terminal the most, but each map has something awful going on. Chapel final obj you usually have to spawn camp the defenders, Bridge first and final obj imbalanced, Trainyard final obj camping the defenders in their spawn, Underground final obj is very linear and aggravating. Dome is too spaced out with lots of dead areas.
Chapel, it is just horribly designed map just in nearly every way. In terms of balance: you need to push EV straight to defender’s spawn; 2 useless machineguns for defenders, but if they get captured by attackers they can shoot directly to just spawned enemies in the face and back; delievery point straight under defender’s spawn, again, with 0 cover for attackers that can be shot right from that spawn; and, as a finisher, you deliever EMP charges to shut down server, but the whole building collapse.
3 entry points if you count the tunnel.
I think for 8v8 3 entrances to the target area are fine. The secondary objective should be moved at least…I agree.
Not that I don’t like it. But it’s my least favorite when compared to the other maps.
Underground has to be the worst map of all. It basically nullifies the main benefit of being one which is ***t tons of firepower and Stoker being the only usable one on it is because it’s a throwable but only half useful due to the Ammo Station is stationary and players have to run to an Ammo Crate or that to get ammo, Kira is the same but only slightly worse, Skyhammer and Arty nuff said both being everyone’s No.1 FS is now like useless and the only helpful thing they can do is to drop Ammo Packs which in my opinion is better.
As for the map itself it’s too narrow, the Defenders have 3 entrances but the sides are blocked leaving only 1 and they’re side objective is like on the other side, I know it’s for balance but having to risk for life to disarm the C4 is not worth it, the Attackers however gets even worse that the flank routes are tight if there’s a Fragger or Nader or Rhino with a Medic then no more words it’s over. Also the elevator on the Attackers is kinda lack lusting for snipers especially Vasilli because the area you’re mainly looking which is the objective is just too small and there will be cases that the enemy would wipe you out
Terminal is a horrible port of Oasis. The flag is practically meaningless, especially if you can overpower the defense, which makes camping their spawn easier than if they spawn on the other side of the wall. The first pump control is in a bad spot. It is too easy to destroy. The second pump is not really worth the effort to activate; barely used because it comes out in a pointless place. The action on second phase is just terrible. Barely any action happens between the wall and the courtyard, except during that awkward moving spawn mechanic. Second phase defense is just basically hunker down around the 2 containers… boring
