What map you hate the most?

(umberInlet) #2

Underground makes the Fire Supports less effective.

([GER] eclipsE) #3

None

(capriRocket) #4

bridge is very boring and stale most of the time because the attackers have a very hard time breaking the defenses to repair the ev at start.

(activeClip) #5

yeh and then once that finally happens its pretty easy for the attacking team, esp the last part.

(einstyle) #6

couldn’t really decide between Crapel and Terminal, but I guess I have to go with Terminal for how horrible both stages are
best maps for me are Underground and Trainyard

(SlendusTea) #7

The only reason why I hate chapel is due to the bug with regarding the bus station’s window visuals, which I would argue is one of the most destructive bugs in the game. I can’t remember how many times I’ve died on that map because I can’t see past the big black square on my screen.

(t3hsquirr3l) #8

I have to go with chapel. It’s a horrible meat grinder the entire way for the attacking team.

For the EV portion, there are several excellent choke points for the defenders. EV goes down at those points, and it’s another desperate struggle to repair the EV. At the EV destination, the defending spawn is so close that it’s an even worse grind if the EV goes down just outside the objective.

For the EMP delivery portion, the defending spawn is extremely close to the objective and runs the entire length of the main “room”. This means defenders not only spawn right next to the obj, but can monitor every possible route easily and respond to any push immediately.

(DMaster2) #9

Definitely Trainyard followed closely by Bridge

(LifeupOmega) #10

Chapel is an atrocity once you get past the EV part

(Whoisthis) #11

I only hate Trainyard the worst because I usually just do quickjoin to get into a random game, which seems to be Trainyard A LOT. Which makes me think that most people must not like it.

(Ghosthree3) #12

They’re all good… I guess maybe Terminal? Because it’s so damn hard for Attackers.

(redhotDetour) #13

Terminal is really really easy for attackers if you take forward spawn and then take machine gun overlook. Its see easy being aura sitting on machine gun with station. Pop off turret kill people pop on turret blast those trying to defuse.

(Ghosthree3) #14

If you take forward spawn it is yeah. If you can’t do that, and it’s not that hard to defend, you’re fucked.

(luxuriousTent) #15

I absolutely dread attacking Chapel and Trainyard. Trainyard is fine for the first two objectives but the third one is so far away from the attacking spawn that by the time the attacking team manages to win a firefight and can position themselves inside the perimeter the defending team could be right back on top of them; taking out just a few attackers however means they aren’t going to get anywhere close to returning the data core for at least another forty seconds. The Chapel attack is just a slog through and through, with the final point reflecting the same issues as Trainyard. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve seen an EV break right in front of the defending spawn and it never manages to get repaired, but it’s about as high as the number of times I’ve seen the attacking team fall apart trying to deliver the EMPs on the third point.

(LJK) #16

Chapel

For the chain Air/Orbi/Arty strikes on the EV in some games. But its still ok.

(sinKrin) #17

Trainyard. Mainly for the first objective.

(Sinee) #18

Surprised Bridge hasn’t gotten more yet. It’s so defender-favoring. It’s great if you’re a defender, but horrid for the attacking team.

(Ghosthree3) #19

Only the first point is all that bad on Bridge. The generator doesn’t need to be planted so that’s not a problem, and the last point has 3 directions to pinch your opponents from.

(RyePanda) #20

Bridge turns into a massive spawntrap sometimes, so I like it the least, though I have seen that happen on Trainyard too.
