And usually you’ve given up a respawn relying on the fact that he will revive you…

1.) Fld ops that give two packs to himself, and the other two to another fld ops.

2.) Engies who poke at a constructable for half a second and steal a majority/all of the XP who had hoped for in your ten minutes of twidling.

3.) Engies who plant 5 mines in a 1 foot radius.

4.) 7 covert ops on a 9 person team

5.) Engies who dont do there job. (Plant dynamite, mines, ect.)

6.) Covert ops 100% focused on raping the people they kill, negating any of their other jobs

7.) People who say “Shut the Fuck up!!” when i try to give them helpful hints/tips.

8.) People who refuse to put away their panzer/mg-42 in a tight corridor, blocking their faster, better teammates

9.) People who are kicked for being too good, then brag about it (Whoops, wrong thread)

I hate noob complaint filers, and people who ignore the objective because they can get more XP by humping some constructable on a part of the map that isn’t currently important.

Oh, and people who think the objective is running around taking off other mens pants.

My biggest problem with ET are the players. I’ve been very close to uninstalling this game several times.

To be more specific: Players who play deathmatch or just aren’t that smart. There is nothing more frustrating than being the only player who is at the right time at the right place, only to find out half the enemy team is incoming to the objective, and you got no backup because your team is at the other side of the map doing God knows what.

  1. When I’m a medic, someone dies and RIGHT when I get to them, they tap out.

  2. When I’m a Cvop and I do the whole v6 times when I’m near teammates and someone on my team decides to shoot me anyways.

  3. When I die and a medic just runs past and either does nothing or throws med. packs on my dead body.

  5. Players that only join a certain team to help out the other team (by stepping on your team’s landmines, telling them where everyone is, etc.). I’ve actually gotten someone like this more than once.

  1. People who simply do not listen. Primarily Field Ops when I’m a medic… when v22 5x in 1 minute doesn’t work, and I have to literally type out their name. “Hey Steve, hand out some ammo please… Ahhh, Steve… If you can READ, please reply at least!”

  2. Horribly thrown air strikes… and no, not form. I mean when half the team is in a firefight against half the allied team in an open area, and a teammate decides they’ll help out by throwing an airstrike and clears out EVERYBODY. Usually more axis than allied. That’s when my finger hovers over the F1 button for a few seconds, and I think about it.

  3. Medics who do NOT use their radar. Hello? While you’re running backwards away from the enemy and not shooting, you just past about 4 other dead teammates along the way… if you’re going to retreat, at LEAST raise somebody and use them as a meat shield. It’s a lot better than trees. :drink:

I’ve realized another peeve of mine… been practicing my defensive strategy on Railgun, and I’ve come to see that there is a vast majority of idiot fuckwits who somehow believe that the first tug is easier to defend if we drive it all the way back to the Axis spawn-hut every time they bring it to the track switch. Idiots! Leave the tug at the switch and guard it with mines! Sure, it will take the full half hour to finish the map, but it’s a defense win, dammit!

ppl who go for irrelevant objectives at key points in the game. like, you know… that moron engy who is busy destroying the truck barriers instead of repairing the tank, or taking out the tank barriers - or going for the gold…

guys who spam artillery strikes into or directly outside of your spawn. i know its part of the game, but it freakin aggravates me not to be able to get out of my spawn cuz some jackass wants to get some easy points.

when im a med and i put myself into the line of fire to revive a guy, and he taps out like a sec before i get there, leaving me hanging out to dry.

ppl who play like its tdm and are oblivious to the objectives…

ppl who vote no to shuffle teams in blatantly unbalanced games - then call you a whiner for trying to even things out

Another thing came to mind for me… lack of sportsmanship.

For example last night I was playing allies on rail gun, and we had the axis backed up to their spawn hut. I am fine with that… but a personal pet peeve of mine: stay behind the wall, when the team surrounds the spawn hut with flamers and panzers it is a bit much. Especially true once you have had them pinned back continuously for the past 5 mins or so. Total domination of a team is fine for a few minutes but it quickly gets old and repetitve. Give them a sporting chance and wait for them to move the train a few feet before wiping the floor with them.

In my case last night the people on my team were cool, once I asked them to back off they did. I think everyone (even the axis players) had more fun, though we still crushed them.

I agree with that surrounding the spawn thing sucks, except near the end of the game on a Limited life server… Cause if it 10 min left and most the axis have been skulled you might as well go and finish them off…

But limited life servers are totally different from your standard pub servers…

I just HATE those stupid spawnkillers from your own team that stand there with a flametrower. Killing them doesn’t help cause they file it anyway and calling a vote for kicking them also doesn’t help because most n00bs don’t understand WHY they should be kicked… :banghead:

I also hate those basterds that go out and go for a drink or something while you’re spawning. They just stand in the way so you can’t pass and if you kill them (yeah, sure, TK, but who cares) they start giving funny names like, stupid ****** Team Killer or start calling votes for kicking you… :angry:

I just hate it when im playing at an mg42 and when i use my smg to fire at people out of the reach of the gun, that people suddenly take it over or just stand behind my back and blocking me when im running away for a gren (like on the lower mg on battery)

And i dislike it when people think that when standing in a dooropening is the perfect time to make a phonecall or get smth to drink/eat.

Ah well, that’s just the inamous tap-out-bug, these players didn’t tap out but were thrown into limbo by the game. (maybe a stray bullet hit them or it’s really a bug, SD isn’t telling us)
