What is wrong with comunity site?

Hey guys,

This is what i get when i try to go to the comunity website:

http://community.enemyterritory.com/

Whats wrong with it? Is the code all messed up or something? Is it supposed to be that way? Because i want the forums on the main site. that’s where the real action is going to be.

What do you mean? The site looks fine to me.
You can’t show us what you get by posting an url, it’d be like me saying ‘this is what my food looked like, apple’ :(.

If something looks odd or strange, please do tell :slight_smile:

Same here, even after a complete cache sweep.

I don’t know what browser you use, but at least it works with Firefox version 2. (Which is exactly what I’m using.)

Seems fine in MS Explorer too. What were/weren’t you seeing?

Im just seeing a bunch of numbers and question marks. Like the code or something. I dont see any forums or anything.

i am already registered at the site, i think from the newsletter. But it do not accept my password. And any eMail-Adress i choice does not work at password reminder. I contacted support and waiting. I posted a topic about this in the new community forums. People are replying stating that they had similar problems, but were able to access the site after several tries. Keep trying the site, refresh, refresh, refresh…seems simple and an unlikely solution, but it does seem to work.

with ie6 it asks me if i want to save the file when i try to go there. =P

and before you tell me to upgrade, i’m trying from my seperate xp game install where i haven’t bothered upgrading browsers.

randomly tried again with ie6 and it worked. i had tried the suggested rapid refresh on my other comp to no avail.

shrugs

didn’t try the cookie thing on this one, but if my other comp is still having issues i’ll give it a go even if it sounds like a desperation tactic. =P

edit: works fine on all browsers on all comps now so i guess they fixed whatever was causing the errors.

Well was working for me up until now.
I’m using firfox and getting the same error.
Does the same in ms ie.

The original problem should be fixed now.

There was a compression issue that seemed to affect anonymous users only. Thanks to MacAfee and StM, that’s been tracked down and fixed. :slight_smile:
