WHAT IS WRONG???? HELP WANTED!!!

Hello!

A “long” time ago my RTCW game worked extremely well. Then I downloaded the map liner and the whole program wouldn’t even start… Now I’ve decided to run RTCW again and therefore I uninstalled the whole map (apart from my map .pk3 :s that I copied to another folder) Then, after I uninstalled RTCW I reinstalled it just like I did first time and then copied the old .pk3 :s to the main folder but it still won’t start. It only takes a few seconds from that that I doubleclick on it’s Icon till the whole computer hungs up and I’m asked whether or not I want to send a error message…

By removing the whole program I thought I get rid of the problem…

HOW DO I FIX THIS??? I REALLY LIKE TO BE ABLE TO RUN THE PROGRAM AGAIN…

simple you said it was the map right? well try to NOT use that map since iut will crash anyway uninstall E.T. remove the folder wolfenstein enemy-territory and then reinstall from the E.T…exe file then install the 1.02 patch then search in the E.T. map for a map called pb wich stands for punkbuster run the pbweb that is in there and wait it takes long but you’ll need it then try to play and don’t put that map on again if that won’t work reinstall your 3d drivers and E.T. drivers then run et uninstall and select repair if THAT doesn’t work try a virus scan and repair E.T. again after that try formating your comp and if it works well cheers :drink:
