Exactly.

Some of my biggest frustrations from BC2 came from the inattention to the PC controls and available options, so much so that it made me worry about Brink and start this thread. Suddenly I’m worried again.

Yes. Regarding the PC controls, we’ll have to do some tweaks for all the various things that have been mentioned here over the past couple of years (including IS). PC doesn’t have a rigidly scheduled certification process like consoles do, so one has to get the console stuff sorted first, and there’s time for PC love while MS and Sony are off doing their testing.

And no worries, I didn’t perceive any trollification, the concerns are entirely valid.

seriously, the first game I EVER played online was Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory and that was about 7 years ago already? And I still enjoy it.

And ETQW is my favourite MP game off all times I reckon :slight_smile:

at that moment we will have to:

  1. Improvise; 2. Adapt; 3. Overcome; 4. Have a Heart Attack (Note to myself: Have ready the Magical Defibrillator); 5. Start a camp fire; 6. Curse; 7. Cry; 8. Threaten to kill Bamby; etc.

I wonder how much time it would take. Spring release is fading away with every day, but I must say it’s better to have a good PC controls than spring release and COD like not optimized PC version (for me anyway).

Toggle or hold down for every action (aim, crouch and sprint).

Can the SMART button also be put/bind as a seperate key, that is only the SMART button.

That’s what I was hoping.
I would keep my normal controls as usual, and would put SMART on my mouse or something in case I need/want it.

As long as it’s possible to bind forward and attack to mousekeys I’m happy.
If not, I will be a very sad panda who simply can not play.
Smart on thumbkey (mouse) would be nice.

I was thinking about buying one of those Roccat keyboards with 3 extra thumb buttons, for SMART at least, but the keyboard layout is soo small :frowning:

Every1 has their own way of doing the exact same objective/purpose. Every game should allow us what key to press for whatever action we pretend to do. We all require and benefit from button assignment imo.
