Hi,
Looking at the stats I know what everything is except GP. Does anyone know what this stands for and how it is calculated. :???:
What is GP in the stats
In RTCW OSP that was ‘game points’ i.e. points you got for stuff other than kills. I think it is just leftover in ET.

Does anyone have more info on how it is calculated. I figured GP was something like what you say, taking/securing documents, blowing walls/doors, defusing, reviving (I think it is also included?). In ET we also have building, repairing, (minespotting) I guess?
In ET that means GP can be obtained mainly by Engineers, Covops and Medics? Maybe you also get GP for driving the tug and opening/closing the track switch?
It seems GP goes to the players who focus on the objectives and on helping teammates.
Providing important firesupport (Fops, soldiers snipers) isnt rewarded though. It seems by adding rewards for this and Light Weapons and Battle Sense you have the XP system.
I suspect (though without the source I can’t say for sure) that doesn’t follow any really logical pattern. Stuff they didn’t change from the RTCW code will give you GP. It is just leftover stuff they didn’t bother to take out, yet another sign that they had limited time to ‘finish’ it when activision decided it would be a free download.
