I think that everyone’s complaining because Splash Damage still hasn’t taken the appropriate action to fix Brink.
There wouldn’t be this much crying if they were doing something right.

Do you really think that they can fix all of those problems in two days. Its just been released in Aus and hasnt yet in the EU, so maybe you should exersise some patiance. Man whats wrong with this world everyone wants things now, now, now it just does not work that way.
If the problems just cropped up now, days after the game’s release, then you can’t fault gamers or game reviewers for criticizing the game. Don’t expect your boss to give you a pat on the back and tell you that everything’s going to be alright if you mess up at work.
If the problems existed before the game was released, then they should’ve fixed them before the game came out.
Either way, this means that Splash Damage didn’t do their homework and released an unrefined product.

I’m not saying I disagree with you because I 100% agree. But the thing is… it’s not just Splash Damage. We’re in an age where developers think it’s okay to release an unfinished product and then patch it in a month or two. That’s just stupid. That’s like a doctor saying “Well, I completed HALF your craniotomy, come back in a month to get the rest finished.”
I would think they fix the problems before they sell the game
but that’s just me!!!

Agreed but that is a moot point due to the fact your using hindsight. The problems are here now, and I am sure they are aware of it (check the news article posted ) and I am sure they will work towards a soultion. It takes time… and we are a generation that thinks that everything comes to us now but the world does not work that way
Nobody (worth listening to) ever claimed that a game had to be perfect for release. Brink is having a hard time for release and that’s something that can be overcome through patches. The thing that can’t be overcome is that even after you fix all the problems with connectivity and system performance it’s still a bland and uninteresting game.
Thats a shame that you think that, so are you going to go do something else, or continue playing while saying its boring and bland ?
i didn’t buy/am not playing brink i just keep an eye on the forums because it interests me and is likely more entertaining than the game itself (plus it’s free).
I played the first night doing the challenges solo just to get a feel for the game. It was an enjoyable experience. The second night a buddy got the game and I was worried it would be laggy and a horrible experience.
To my surprise we started playing the challenges two up and not once did the game lag out. It was playing perfectly. We really enjoyed playing. I plan on playing the challenges with friends until all my xbox360 friends get the game. Then we will tackle the campaign.
Good work Splash Damage!
Not sure if this would help, but My buddies and I are all on 6MB connections or faster. Xbox360 new and old. Not running the game from the HD.

…Three times, in a row, consecutively, we would hold the object for 9 minutes and 30 seconds without a single problem. Then, at 9:30 minutes and 0.00001 seconds, my entire NPC team’s balls suddenly drop off while the other team suddenly become coordinated killing machines and we all die. The NPCs plant the bomb, and it goes off with about 10 seconds left to go before we would have won.
…
At other points in the game like that mission in the area that looks like an airport, I’ll camp the objective for 3-8 minutes while my team is off masturbating somewhere.

I think there is some “nerfing” going on in this game. I have also noticed that at some very obviously repetitive time frames in matches that if you are in SP the bots suddenly become inhuman and make a mad push. I don’t mind so much because like I said it is pretty obvious when it happens and typically it happens at around the same clock times. I just prep for it. Reminds me a little of the AI director in L4D2, only this one changes the difficulty on you.
How can the controls be unintuitive, they’re completely customizable, and that’s on xbox.

I was as happy with the game as you. Then I tried the MP on XBOX. I just hope they get things ironed out quickly. Coop campaign and challenges will only last so long. I want to play 8v8 ALL HUMAN player MP. Isn’t that a pretty reasonable expectation???
ignore most the **** posters
a lot of these people created their forum accounts 1 day ago, they created it solely to talk bad about this game and post stupid meme type pictures like that “SINK” pic

Yeah, the unplayability on the XBOX MP is just in our heads. Oh, and the fact that the most ‘real people’ I’ve seen in a game has been three.
runs just fine for me on pc, maybe you should stop trying to play first person shooters on consoles, lol
