What Ideas do you have for Brink, if it was upgraded?

Hey guys/gals,

I really enjoy playing Brink, it’s a really fun game and I’m sooo happy I didn’t listen to IGN and other ppls thought about this game; because this is the funnest game I’ve ever played.

Now:

What I wished Brink would have (and all other shooter games) are FEMALE CHARACTERS and the colour pink :slight_smile:

Also, it’s neat that they have that sence of perspection option where your character is in 3rd person view- to the point- it would be neat if you can also have that when you are doing the parkour moves… I think I would like to see my character in 3rd person doing those moves.

Well… that’s all I can think of for now… oh and better stealth killing moves…

What are your ideas?..

A female character option is a good idea. I know a few female gamers who opted out of Brink just because there’s no female character option (plus, they’d need to take a break from MAG…). I don’t know about the color pink, though. That can be seen a mile away.

I’d like…bigger maps, more customization options, maybe dual-wielding for the people who prefer it. There’s an entire thread about akimbo/dual-wielding as it is.

I’d definitely buy DLC with more customization options, so long as it’s a pretty significant list of options. :stroggtapir:

I wish there was an option to switch to 3rd person view at any time, kinda like in swbf1.

My post was a bit short so lets see more customization i seem to like the idea of making a character to use for your liking of course female characters would be awesome to have in the game but if there going to put that in that would be in brink 2 (hopefully there will be a brink 2) There are a great selection of weapons another sniper would be great although they already have a bolt action and semi auto sniper another would be cool more maps would be great build up the story some people think there isn’t much of a story but i sort of disagree also no one ever mentioned this prob cause they don’t care who knows but more audio logs would be nice i listened to all the current ones and it kinda told more about the story as many people said akimbo pistils or shotguns would be awesome and as someone else said a tomahawk or a throwing knife would also be cool my only problem is I wish the surpresser attachment was a bit better/usable overall I love this game and ive been playing it a lot with my friends off of this site its a great game when played with friends for me atleast and I haven’t got that bored with this game yet also my first long post :stroggtapir:

I’m one of that threads main posters actually, haha. I like some of the ideas here too. I agree, the color pink is a little too noticeable for an FPS, but if they choose to wear it then their bad right?

More story would be cool, I mean some of us care about that at least. I agree that female characters probably wouldn’t show up until Brink 2. Another sniper weapon would be pretty cool as well, but I wouldn’t really mind if they didn’t add it either. Also, I believe shurikens would be more Brink’s style, but throwing knives I could definitely see as well. Your point about the suppressor is valid as well. And congrats on your first long post having a lot of valid points.

Female characters, yes! Up 'till now, the thought that kept spinning round my head in this game is that the men are just frustrated because they’re stuck in a place where there are no women.

Also, I know it’s more consistent in keeping the security’s color scheme cool and uniformed, but MY GOD I want more colors! So yeah, i’m in with the pink gig! :slight_smile:

If nothing else then at least female NPC’s or something, it’s proven there are females on the Ark, but how do we know? Only because of the audio logs, we never see a one. At least make them an NPC in a cutscene on future maps(if they add on to the story and actually have cutscenes) if nothing more. Also, I would like to see more color in the Sec outfits as well, maybe they should lighten up a bit, haha.

MORE maps = Great
female PCs = Great
Static character factions = Explain please?
dual pistols (only because they’re currently nerfed to useless) = Great
destructible environments = Meh would be cool but not a must
operative buffs = Would be nice
default teamspeak = ok
LOBBIES! = possibly ok

Pink would be a nice addition don’t forget neon colors as well

All good ideas, these would add a lot to the game honestly, I especially like the idea of destructible environments because it would add more strategy. Plus, be honest, it would look cool too.

static character factions as in…you create a character named bob, you choose bob to be resistance. bob only ever plays on the resistance side. you create an alt character named fred. fred is security. fred will only play on the security side
