No it makes perfect sense. It’s amazing how much PC gamers bash consoles and console players. And you generalize that all console players are kids. But when we say that PC gamers are nerds (seriously you guys talk about building computers and different computer components like it’s your life) you get defensive. Well I agree – PC gamers lack REAL social structure. And most (if not all) PC gamers are nerds. Kid or adult, the majority of console gamers are CASUAL gamers. That means our lives don’t revolve around it.

PC is the main platform in Germany. The majority of households with at least one member of the “middle generations” make use of at least one PC. Almost all of the young male adults here know how to operate a PC, a lot of them know where to get a PC and who to ask for advice before getting one, a good amount of young male adults know how to assemble a PC from standard hardware parts.

By your definition every young male adult in Germany is a nerd and socially inferior.

Well, according the German girlfriend who came back from Germany for a year from seeing the family, the economy is doing terrible, with the middle class being eliminated and driving everything up in price. You might have a reason now xD, back onto topic however:

Most of the earlier game play looked like it wasn’t really formed from the actual game, rather extremely “prepared” scenarios and enviroments etc. This is evident in a lot of the videos from a year ago or what have you, especially the ones involving singleplayer.

Well, hop on PSN or Xbox live, play any online FPS, plug in them headphones, and see how many of the players have not hit puberty yet. Id say that at least 30% would be younger than 14 and 50% would be high school/college players (its actually fun to play with frat bros).

Also i am a PC gamer, and just because I actually know what i am playing on and how to upgrade it (have fun upgrading your xbox, let alone building it) I am a nerd? (or am i just way more logical than you are?)

I own a pc and an xbox and i perfer to play my games on my xbox.Mainly because i dont have to constantly upgrade my hardware to be able to play new games that need higher specs to run.Dont get me wrong i love pc and have alot of respect for pc gamers and games in general and actually use to be a exclusively pc gamer.But dude seriously not everyone shares the same views as you and this may come as a shock but some people do perfer to play games on consoles.Really dissapointed with the PC gamers on here,i expected you to be more mature.Oh and btw just because i play on a console doesnt mean im poor.Grow the F**k up!

The funny thing is that I can’t afford a console. I need the PC for other stuff anyway so it’s cheaper to upgrade then buy a console + upgrade TV which I never watch and then pay more for games.
