i like the galactic. it has lower damage, but it just feels right from the hip.

As a heavy I go back and forth between the Chinzor and Gotlung. I’ve never tried the Maximus, and the EZ-Nade is crazy powerful, but so few rounds (even with extra magazine). I like raining bullets, suppressing the enemy, with the occasional mass-slaughter.
When it comes to my secondary, I haven’t quite decided which I like best. I’ve danced with the Euston, Galactic, Bulpdaun, Carb-9, and Rokstedi (IIRC). No clear favorite thus far. But, to be honest, I spend 95% of the time with the main (chinzor/gotlung) up, so there’s not really much of a data sampling from which to generate any conclusions.
I just recently starting playing with the Mossington as a secondary… fun to shoot, but you better have good aim, with only 6 in the magazine before you need to reload.
I wish I was more experimental with the weapons, so I could add more to the conversation, but that’s about the extent of my weapon experience.
carb + richis is my favorite
carb for everything under 30 meters for everything else richis
kross-ammo and accuracy,
bulpdaun-most accurate smg,
gerund-best combo of accuracy and power,
chinzor-it’s a carb with 100 rounds and more stable spread,
belgo-it’s another SMG in your pistol slot,
ritchie-1-shot capability in your pistol slot.
Light (my preference atm):
Carb 9 for CQC, drum mag is a big plus, front grip/bayonet, red dot, muzzle break
Ritchie for long range/sniping - no attachments except sight so the range stays high
Med:
Rhett Med/Long Range, red dot, muzzle break, no mag attach, front grip/sometimes I use underslung but not lately (rather use 'nade shooting). For an AR accuracy/dmg/feel is the best IMO
Carb 9
I used the Kross (nice accuracy + drum mag) a lot pre-patch because I knew the Carb nerf was incoming and I didn’t want to get reliant on a weapon that might suck in the near future. Post-patch I switched over to and prefer the Carb.
I never play heavy. I can’t stand how slow they are.
Light Builds: CARB-9/Belgo
CARB-9 is a good all around weapon though the accuracy drops pretty steeply at longer ranges. And as burawura mentions, the Belgo makes a great secondary weapon because more SMGs is never a bad thing.
Medium Builds: Gerund/CARB-9
I use the underslung grenade launcher since I hate throwing grenades and I find the Gerund much more accurate than the CARB-9 at a distance as long as I only fire in short bursts. Full auto with the Gerund is useless, even in close quarters.
Heavy Build: Gotlung/CARB-9
I don’t think I need to explain why I use the Gotlung. Do I?

Fully customized Galactic has been my favorite when playing a Light character so far. Even more so after the patch because I heard it was buffed.
Going to try something new now. Going to play heavy and pick a Minigun with Kross as a secondary.
Soldier, FRKN-3k with a launcher and Bulpdaun with a bayonet. Honestly I just like the FRKN-3k, the Bulpdaun I use for close quarters and occasionally suppressive fire.
Medic, Mossington and Ritchie. Mossington because it’s easy to use on the run and is good for holding ground in tight spaces, Ritchie for times when the Mossington is unneeded or just out of range.
Operative, Barnett and Belgo. I like taking down choice targets as operative, hence the Barnett. The Belgo is of course the only automatic pistol.
Engineer, Hjammerdeim and Lobster. Hjammerdeim is my choice weapon for defending turrets as I tend to use them for distraction more often than killing. The lobster is a kind of support weapon when assaulting an area where the enemy team bunkers down on an objective.
to go more in depth:
Whether i run medium or light, i run an smg and a pistol. i like the smgs in general, and unless i am a soldier, i prefer to be a medium for the extra health.
SMG:
Galactic with standard mag, yeotech sight, bayonet and of course, a muzzle break.
i like the galactic spread a lot. it doesnt have great damage, but it works great for cleaning up after a grenade. the bayonet i use to make up for the lack of close range the galactic has.
or
tampa with front grip, muzzle break, yeotech sight and standard mags. great for close range combat, not much else. hipfire only of course.
Pistol:
Kalt with speed holster and muzzle break
Relatively powerful pistol that has good rate of fire and accuracy, and amazing equip speed. it compliments the galactic very well with its slow reload.
or
Sea Eagle with muzzle break and rapid fire
self explanatory.great longer range weapon to offset the drawbacks of the tampa.
trying to get the tokmak to work, but i cant find its power anywhere.
Gatlung for hallway ownage when soldier to refill my ammo or engi to make sure I don’t need too much ammo.
My heavy medic uses auto shotty for emergencies (fatties can’t run) and a drum mag AR with weapon shield.
My med soldier uses AR with GL for dispersing large groups on demand and the UZI secondary because it’s got the swap speed of a pistol.
My lights all use kross’ with a revolver for great hip fire accuracy and cleanup potential.
Pretty much every single one of my characters uses a different weapon set, I did that on purpose so I could switch between them for a different feel on the game.
Main: Rhett AR with Grip, Greeneye Scope, Muzzle
Secondary: Carb-9 SMG with Grip, Greeneye Scope, Muzzle
The Rhett for me just feels the nicest to use from the hip as well as scoped, only problem with it is it only comes with 100 bullets (25 per clip) so I try not to waste as many bullets as possible.
The Carb-9 is a pretty safe secondary as it has good damage, stability and accuracy and is good from the hip at close range and not bad at medium rage when scoped.
I play as a medium body type, specialising in the engineer and soldier roles. Currently deciding whether to max out these two classes or put the extra 5 points into medic skills (as I have all my essential skills for these two already).
Below are my current weapon load outs:
Close range:
Euston - Extended mags, muzzle break, front grip*, C-U-Gone sight.
CARB-9 - Extended mags, muzzle break, bayonet*, adjusted iron sights.
Medium/Close Range:
Euston - Extended mags, muzzle break, front grip*, C-U-Gone sight.
Kross - Extended mags, muzzle break, front grip, adjusted iron sights.
Medium/Long Range:
Rokstedi - Extended mags, muzzle break, C-U-Gone sight.
Gerund - Extended mags, muzzle break, YeoTek sight.
Kross - Extended mags, muzzle break, front grip, adjusted iron sights.
Long Range:
Barnett - Green Eye scope.
Kross - Extended mags, muzzle break, front grip, adjusted iron sights.
*have been using the Euston without the front grip as I prefer that look + no twisted wrist, but trying it out as ideally I’d like to reduce the spread at range.
*only just started testing out the bayonet, see how it goes. Will give the speed sling a whirl once I unlock it (BMO2, lvl 20…).
This is in PUB where I’ve come to accept that I am a one man team 99% of the time. Depending on your team to help you even a little bit is unfortunately nothing but a pipe dream.
As heavy (Engineer and soldier):
In open areas
In closed up areas
Sidearm: Gerund AR w/ YOTEK red dot sight, Ducttaped mag and front grip.
As light (Medic and operative):
Sidearm: Ritchie Revolver with Green eye scope.
Alterantively if I have a rifle I switch to the Hockler MP or the Kalt or Sea eagle.
Many different gun combos work well since the patch. Currently I am using either a Kross w/ Muzzle break, bayonet, high cap mag, red dot and Ritchie with similar stuff plus speed sling, or Carb-9 w/ muzzle break 6vent, drum mag, red dot and bayonet and ritche. On a med Assalt Op I use Euston with Bayonet 4 vent muzzle (cosmetic) red dot and either high cap mags or drum depending on the day.
Beenplaying heavy recently chinzor and rhett FTW. i cant stand the spool time with the gottlung. prefer the Chinzor
For me the guns I choose can vary dependant on how the game I’m in is going.
I use Gotlung/Ez-Nade to suppress choke points or prevent bot runs.
I use Maximus for defensive fixed fire, such as from gate at CC or balconies.
I primarily use RokStedi (its my favourite gun) which is wonderful for taking on groups at mid/long range and excellent as an anti sniper weapon.
I use Carb 9 as a backup/close combat gun and usually switch to this for secondary inside corridors or places I know the enemy will be close, or in case my primary is low on bullets and a reload is going to be too costly.
I use Caesar Revolver as a backup when in open areas since it is accurate and hard hitting.
I use Gerund as a long range backup for my Heavy but only in close to mid range maps, like defending the crane on (I forget the name) the missile launch map.
I use FRKN when I need a little more fire rate at long distance, for example shooting down on Sec Tower against a Res escort.
I like to mix it up
