OK here’s my setup as well:
mouse 2: crouch
wheelup: close aim
wheeldown: long aim
mouse 4 (thumb button): I used to have it as binoculars, but now it doesn’t work anymore with the current Logitech drivers.

Yeah don’t they suck :banghead:
If you really want to use mouse4 & 5 on a logitech you can use the standard windows driver or microsoft’s intellipoint driver
genious optical
mouse 1 = fire
mouse 2 = secondary
mouse 3 = reload
wheel up and down = change weapon
i dont use the scroll really, unless im just changing 1 weapon, i have all my wepons binded to keys, keypad 1 is knife, keypad 2 is pisto, keypad 3 is weponbank 3, keybank 4 is granades, insert is weaponbank5, home is weapon bank 6 and pgup is weaponbank 7
When tricking - sprint
When fighting - “+activate” for opening doors, using MG42 etc. In RTCW if you hold your activate button and press left/right strafe at the same time, you would lean left/right… SD for reasons best known to themselves saw fit to remove this handy option
for me mouse2 = pistol
and cg_autoreload “0”
when i hear that click switch to the pistol and finish them off while there still reloading
hmm maybe it was added in a patch, i took all my basic controls from RTCW and put them in ET when it 1st came out and im sure it wouldnt work early on. I just havent tried to lean that way since then.
Being left handed, I put crouch on ctrl instead of mouse2…
I use mouse2 as crouch, and if I am using a wheel I use mouse3 as activate (which I use mainly for leaning).
