ORANGE SLUDGE plastered over everyone.
Never miss a beat.
What I think will be most annoying is a team with 6 heavies, 2 of each non-Operative class, all buffing each other to insanity and being an almost unbreakable defense on wherever they happen to be at the time.
It was so much fun!
Can understand that it can get annoying when someone is reeaally good with the rail tho
Most annoying things for me would be:
This constant deafness effect whenever I get hit. It’s just super annoying when the sound is ****ed up like this, enough when a flash has an annoying sound effect.
Any kind of lag. Ruined my ET:QW experience to some extend cause hitting people was always super awkward for me. I managed to be kinda good with Lacerator but only with a real strange style of approaching firefights which won’t help me that much in a lag-free game^^
Any occasion where I desperately need XP to try out some ability builds. So ****ing annoying that I have to start a new character and play x hours before I can try out some simple ideas.
Hm there was something else I had in mind some hours ago, can’t remember right now. Will just say one small thing that is likely to be fixed: Latest videos didn’t have a respawn timer, unless you were down -> totally missing the importance of the respawn system.
Medics not healing
Medics not reviving
Soldiers not giving ammo
Engineers not defusing mines
Engineers not defusing charges
Engineers not repairing the defusal robot
Players not protecting the hostage (VIP / Escort)
Heavies with a Minigun downing/killing your whole team
That’s what I think will be some ‘‘hnng’’ things for me
I’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again, the gloves in third and first person. I’ll try to live with it tho.
Yeah… Shiet, you’re right
Why do we get black fingerless leather gloves?
Can’t they just animate the class gloves onto… Well, all player models?
This is one of the big things I think of. Besides getting knocked down.
Really just any overuse of one class could potentially annoy the **** out of me. Like when your whole team tries to snipe in any CoD game.

I think it would be worse in BRINK if people used one class over the others, since you need certain classes to do certain things to advance towards victory, no?
Anyways… Yeah, but hopefully the EXP Bribe, the lust for winning, and the mission-wheel will help with that
Gosh, I hope it does
Would be effective on defend missions, but the team would fall apart the moment you got through the blockade. I doubt there will be many, if any, maps where all of the objectives allow you to just sit in one spot and win.
Even dividing into 2 or 3 groups, the heavies wouldn’t be able to maneuver around the map and would get flanked or just plain passed. As with most things in the game, the most effective mix of bodytypes should be a balanced one.
Personally, the thing I’m not looking forward to are mines. I hate mines no matter what game they are in. Whether its doing damage or just a knockdown, its a real buzzkill to suddenly be in a bad position with not much you could have done about it.

Just hope your Operatives spot them for your Engineers
*And that the Engineers actually defuses them too

ah engineers… so many tormenting and harassing capabilities… turret overlooking a group of mines… such fun…
well shadow. assuming you are on the pc i shall have to find you some day and annoy you by playing engineer in unorthodox methods…
as for what will annoy me… people emp’ing and hacking my turret… and people killing my turret… bastards! my turret was just saying hello… with bullets…
I’m worried about to many people being light, getting owned by 1 heavy, then the ONLY medic reviving will be giving away easy kills.

Hopefully they wont be as powerful as in ET and there’s some kind of limit per team.
I think what is going to annoy me the most is players going Operative so they can avoid enemy mines but not spotting the mines so the entire team can avoid them too. That is going to be my personal pet-peeve.
They are different in third and first person, in third person they are black and fingerless.
Heavy Operatives.
For every idiot on my team that tries to pull this off, an fbomb ensues.
Also, trying to take down a roid-raging heavy with a SMG.

???
I think you want one with the main, heavy group working toward objectives. Defense against enemy operatives, interrogating incaps, and all that. You only want one, but one is good.
On topic:
I think I am going to dislike flash/bang grenades.

I just think it’s a bad idea, the idea behind operatives is for them to be quick, agile and stealthy. A Roid Rager isn’t going to accomplish that too easily.
By all means, prove me wrong, but unless the disguises also grant you the movement capabilities of each body type, kindly stay off my team.
That’s how I look at it.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m going to want a lot of heavies on my team, I like having 500 pounds of meat eating the bullets up for me, but I don’t want heavy operatives, it’ll just annoy me.
