what would you like to see improved in ET2/RTCW2?

lack of teamwork, exp whoring and non objective based players are what piss me off in ET and I think the game has to change to stop/force people to play in a better mannor. I know clan matches must be great without this problem, but the majority of players of ET, the casual gamers play on pub’s.

I think EXP should be more objective based, sadly you have to give greater exp for the main objectives to stop the whores doing stupid tasks such as 10exp for truck barrier when the tank hasnt moved. This means give exp for collecting a gold crate, give higher battle sense points for aggresive play to force allies to move forward

Medics, as realism goes I dont think medics are meant to be the biggest killers, Ive seen alot of people talk about stopping regen not being able to use own medic packs etc but i disagree, just limit the amount of ammo medics can carry to 30/30 even at lvl4 this will stop they going on solo rambo missions and make it harder for them to kill so many. More exp for reviving a eng less for rest of the team.

Panzars? watch band of brothers, u dont see a guy runnning like forest gump with one jumping up and down shooting every 5 seconds, give it a bigger hit radius slower firing, cant jump or run while holding one, and maybe make it so you need a team mate to reload it? give it instant damage of objects such as tanks, its not a anti personal weapon its meant to be used on structures and armour.

I like your idea with the Panzerfaust. The soldier should just spawn as a completely normal soldier with his thompson ready and his chosen heavy weapon geared to specific targets. MG42 for defense emplacement, and then that maybe having someone to reload it, or feed it ammo, a field ops maybe. The Panzerfaust for more demolition style targets, like vehicles, etc, after all the Panzer was a German tank. Although it would still cause large damage to foot-soldiers. Yes, reduce the amount of ammo carried for it, and the reload time, maybe the user has to take a break to go reload the thing. I think the flamer should have more of a range and do slightly more damage. I think the soldier should have more of an charging weapon aswell as all the ones at the moment slow the soldier down a lot and are generally better for defense.

Although, saying all that, Splash Damage did do a grat job with balancing out the classes for gameplay rather than realism. So probably best to leave it to them.

XP: Dispense with completely and you’ll cure all XP related problems at a stroke. It’s just not possible to balance XP because it is, and always will be, a basic power-up / points system. It will always be abused for the simple reason than it can be.

Meds: No regen and same health as everyone else. Limiting ammo wouldn’t do any good cos there’s ammo racks to get ammo from and they can pick up weapons. That’s how the Rambo Med survives now, kill a guy, take his gun, kill the next guy, take his gun, etc.

Panzers: Not really a problem as long as server admins take advantage of the option to limit them.
