The title says it all. Remember, you cannot switch body types in the middle of a round, as you can classes.
What body type do you anticipate you will play most?
Dude, just say heavy, medium or light. Adding a flavour tests is steering the public. Statistics 101.
Hard to say, I think everyone will start with medium. But I’m the run and gun type. So I can see myself settling into a nice lightweight build.
i DO have to have the light character as my first!
but wasn’t there something that you’d start of with medium and have to play for a while to change to heavy or light… unlock …???
gunzo, you can’t rambo medic in Brink because the game is pro-choice. Incaps get to choice whether to plunge the syringe or not. You can run around trying to get them up on their feet all you want, but if they don’t want to be healed, they won’t. But Light would be faster at it anyway, though his syringe may not be as big.
And@madoule, I believe you are correct. We will all start with the medium and then “unlock” the other body types as we play. So, at the point in which you are free to choose, which will you choose?

light!
and thanks for the confirmation. i knew i read it somewhere.
offtopic: sumimasen, nanji, desu-ka?
I think you are getting too worked up about this, who cares if the polls are biased or something? This poll is inconsequential after all.
I think people would anticipate the light body-type the most because of SMART.

No offence buddy, but i don’t think you know what a rambo medic is.
It’s someone who does the opposite of what you said, namely doesn’t care about objectives, just heals himself while pwning everyone, prefferably all at once and with only a luger playing the symphony of the unmistakable triple-ding.
That being said, i was joking about the rambo medic thing.
And i appreciate the effort.

Getting worked up because I would love to compare it with the previous poll and see if the preferences have changed.
Light for the first character, just to learn all the routes and get accustomed to chaining moves manually.
Then Heavy…to learn the hotspots on each of the maps for the bodytype, and the counters it needs to deal with.
After all that has been figured out, who knows what will be played in ladder matches.
But what’s the use of focusing or worth it when the majority of players haven’t played the game yet? We know all this for sure when the game launches so, need to worry about these things now.
The best would be to vote on wether or not we should make a poll about what poll to use.

Splash Damage has taken steps to deal with rambo medics, by putting a cooldown of self-heals. However, while this is going on, you can heal others.
You’re first character cannot be Light, since everyone starts out as Medium (Light and Heavy are not even an option until you level up more)

That is good news. Off topic question, but ill ask since you seem to be well informed;
Will you be able to pick weapons off the ground like in ET?
