mouse wheel while zoomed is zoom in/out, while unzoomed is scroll through weapons.

right control is button I use for ventrilo/team speak.

Oh, and the way I do this is my middle finger rests on KP_8 (forward), and is used for forward and backward movement as well as leaning. My thumb rests on the KP_INS and KP_DEL keys (for sidestepping). My index finger is for sprint and prone, my ring finger is for jump and duck, and my pinky switches weapons/zooms in with binocs.

for same reasons i use since same time mouse movement with the difference that i can move AND shoot one handed :slight_smile:

this of course works only with my state of the last millenium wheel-less logitech 3 button mouse with ball and cable :sunglasses:

Standard WASD as follows.
W = Foward
S = Back
A = Straf Left
D = Strafe Right
…
C = Crouch/Double for Prones.

Isn’t it hard to strafe right (D) while crouching ©? I have put crouch on left Alt. So I crouch with the tumb. Actually, my tumb rests on left Alt. Ready to press down at an instant, for those lightening fast headshots at incredible distances. :wink:

Not at all. I just hit it with my thumb… also used to use a press to crouch, not hold and crouch…

Also, been playing this way so long that I can put my left hand pinky out of place by positioning it like im reaching the the left CTRL key and clicking it in… just goes like jelly till I force it up. :}

Crouching while not moving makes you less of a target.
Strafeing makes you harder to hit due to movement.

crouching does make you less of a target, straffing does make you harder to hit. but by doing both at the same time, you nagate each of their advantages. they see you easier because you are moving, and they shoot you easier because of you cant move nearly as fast. In my experiance, it is better to choose one or the other.[/quote]

Have nothing better to do than this, this places your movement keys in isolation with all the weapons and stuff arrayed around.

Cycle - MouseWheel (only use this when I know the weapon is one slot up or one slot down)
