What a damn good game

(Carlos) #1

I have played this game for weeks and now i laugh at Counter Strike or even the old Wolfenstien. This game is soooooooo fun!! specially with the variey of objectives, awards, the team work, interaction with the environment, detailed scenarios, cvops etc etc… I think is the best game multiplayer ever done til now. I dont know how people DARE to compare counter strike to this game (i find it “void”)

Im pleased with the splash damage developers of producing such a good work :rocker2:

By the way i still have things unclear.

1)For what is exactly the command post? In some maps the tray of health and ammo appears but in others nothin happens :???: (can u still spot mines without the command post dont u?)

  1. How do u use the mortar? :suspicious: is so hard to predict were is going to fall.

  2. Could u do a FAQ or guide were it showed the improvements acording to the stars u win? for example im confused with the last star of field ops (what it supposed to do?) And i have never passed thrugh the 2nd star of soldier, it seems impossible… what is the difference between the soldier star column and the gun control one?

That’s all. Thanks

  1. Command posts and ammo/health racks are two seperate but sometimes linked entities
  2. Command posts increase your team’s recharge rate
  3. Some command posts enable you to spawn there (Radar and Battery)
  4. Some ammo/health racks are “inactivated” upon destruction of a CP (Fuel Dump)
  5. Some CPs can only be built by Axis (marked with German flag), some can only be built by Allies (marked with American flag), some can be built by both, (marked with yellow triange)
  1. How do u use the mortar? :suspicious: is so hard to predict were is going to fall.

Thanks1!! but i dont still understand what “team recharge” means :???:

Bye

(Ifurita) #4

it means that the recharge rate for EVERYONE on your team is increased by X%

(Brinkman) #5

it’s awesome… (when you have a team that knows what they are doing)

as level 4 engineer, you can plant 4 dynamite in quick succession on a single charge. funny stuff.

(Vengeance) #7

Lvl 3 gives u multiple plants, lvl 4 is the flak jacket

I’m pretty sure a level 3 Soldier has better heavy weapons handling… either you can run almost regular speed with heavy weapons out, or it allows you to fire more shots with your charge bar… pretty sure it’s the latter. Level 4 soldier allows you to use an SMG as a secondary weapon instead of a pistol. good times.

Mmh, lets take a look inside the manual (Start->Programs->Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory->Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory Help->Manual):

Ok, lets again take a look into the manual:

And again the manual:

Read entire section L for all benefits.

I think what Ragnar is saying is… RTFM!

Ifurita’s links do a great job distilling the info in the manual and combining it with in-game experience. Its a great resource for gamers new to ET as well as those coming over from RtCW.
