Yeah, they were definitely nerfed a bit. However, I think they needed nerfing and I mostly main Fragger. They were wayyyy too good the way they were. There is a card that gives you 20% more AoE blast radius though which would give back some of the splash damage and power in some situations.
eh still feel it’s a bit unfair for fragger as he’s a pretty slow merc in a game based around speed. It’s kinda a kick to the groin for him.

nerf was 160damage to 150damage. Hardly what you are saying.
Fragger is still the best merc in the game by far, and nades are still overpowered so yeah. I would be suprised if fragger didnt get few more nerfs along the way.

Knowing that I recently got one shotted with one of Fragger’s nades once with Proxy (that guy really put up a nice throw btw. Seriously, very nice game), I doubt that you can’t one shot Aura anymore.
By the way, if you really feel like to change your character, you can be interested with flanking with mines with Proxy.
Setp 1 : Go behind the enemy lines.
Step 2 : Find the whole bunch of guys not paying attention to you.
Step 3 : Throw a mine
Step 4 : Shoot at it.
Step 5 : ???
Step 6 : PROFIT !
Hard to put up, but tons of fun if you manage to do it !
Never said otherwise, but fragger>aura. Aura have broken ability that should be nerfed months ago but merc itself is mostly easy to deal with, fragger even without his broken ability is insanly hard to deal with.
He have currently the most hp, have the best gun and to make things worse there is something wrong with his model that makes him harder to hit than medium mercs + that freaking backpack at the back covering head =/.
-10hp, less damage on his mg (not sure about br-16 yet), model fixes and obviously nades changes would probably put him in a good place. Right now he is a demi god.
yah he can take a lot of hits, still get’s 2-3 shotted by shotguns though.
OK GUYS CAN WE JUST AGREE THAT THE AURA HEALING STATION IS A BIT BULL?

The most hp because he’s an Assault, the second lowest in HP for an assault, assaults take damage and give it back with powerful guns and grenades, in ones case a minigun and another a grenade launcher.
You can shoot through it, all Assaults have large weird backpacks, they don’t do anything, you can shoot through them.
@Redcap It’s not easy to aim for the head if you can’t see it. Learning which part of the backpack is someone’s head is not the best way to go tbh.
@Redcap the thing that I learned is that when you are a proxy, you can explode your own proxy mines, making the aura station both weak and the mines a bit op as well when you think about it, like when people were complaining with the fragger, and the mines work amazingly! I just shoot where there station is camping at, and I place my mine quickly while jumping like a maniac, and boom goes the dynamite!
For Fragger and Thunder, the’r heads would be in the very upper center of the backpack
I dont really see how exactly, if you’re risking to throw a mine at enemies, shoot at it while its on the ground before it can activate, playing as one of the more frailer classes theres not much wrong in that, a bit of an achievement in skill really. its like Fragger’s grenades, hes one of my favorites and I dont really mind the lower damage but it gets rather annoying to read people call a grenade someone aimed, cooked, and threw to fall right in place as over powered and an instant win scenario when theres an ability that pretty much heals anyone around it at a constant rate; Sure Sawbonez and Sparks have health packs but they need to drop them at people, and all the it’d give would be lost when the person gets hurt, pheonix too, but the healing burst has a long recharge timer, with aura its not much of a “come here to heal quickly” device but more of as soon as you drop it you’re practically invunerable unless someone throw an explosive right on it or have enough bullets flying at aura that the healing station isn’t healing enough compared to it damage you’re recieving.
Why are you comparing a healing ability to a damaging ability? Aura and Fragger play different roles and should be compared to their peers.
It’s also pretty funny when people defend those mininukes by saying “b-b-but I aimed and cooked it!! 11! pput soo much effort into that!!”.
Nades are too powerful considering how easy they are to use.

Doesnt matter if he is in “assault” class or not. His model is wonky (it even skip frames at times, i even checked that on my video when i couldnt figure out why it was so hard to hit him) and i have easier time hitting every other medium build mercs that are faster and have smaller model.
His head hitbox doesnt seem to be any bigger than medium mercs which is what is important and hitting head from the back is also harder than medium class mercs. Fact is that fragger isnt even easier to hit but have more hp (even ignoring the fact that he can survive mine explosion while standing on it), wonky model, the best guns in the game and probably the best aoe ability (even nader cant compete).
You cant outdamage him because he have betters guns/more hp, you cant poke him because he have grenades that are pretty much impossible to avoid if someone know how to use them(which is also super easy) and to make things worse his head is for some reason hard to hit.
You honestly think that a merc without drawbacks is somehow balanced ? (his slower move speed isnt even important for the most part). Defend him if you want but he is the easiest and the strongest merc in the game at the moment and he simply cannot stay like that.
