Sound loopey crash? Crash on start of game?

well…it plays for a while, then it just freezes and the sound loops for about 10 seconds, then I get the windows box that says “ET.exe has created an error” or whatever it says, and it asks me to send it to micro$oft

What are your system specs like?

I’ve encountered that error about 5 times in a month and a half as well. I haven’t noticed similiar circumstances during each of its occurances.

you can do a memory test, by downloading memtest86.

If you have a motherboard with a via chipset try downloading the newest chipset drivers or try older versions:
www.viaarena.com or www.viatech.com
