Most successful as a medium with rhett + galactic
but been having fun lately messing around as a heavy with chinzor + kross
Weapon Discussion
Light:
Carb 9 + Ritchie
Drognav + Sea Eagle (or Belgo if I’m in the mood)
Medium:
Mossington + Drognav
Rhett + Carb 9
Rockstedi + Kross
Heavy:
Gotlung + Rockstedi
Maximus + Drognav
EZ-Nade + Carb 9
I wonder if some load-outs may work better on certain maps and certain objectives?
of course. Resort comes to mind for a map suited to long range guns, especially the second objective (escort).
For short range guns, there are many maps where the majority of the fighting happens in a very small objective room; first half of aquarium for example.
You can make any gun work on any map, but a player who is proficient with them all and switches weapons to suit the situation will do best imo…once CARB-9 stops being a perfect weapon, that is.
I’m not a big fan of the Kalt or Tokmak, and the Ritchie makes a poor partner for the snipers, since its not all that much different from the Drognav. I stick to the Seagull or Belgo unless i want to have some fun with a hand-sniper.
Yeah, pretty much. I try not to use guns that are overused or “broken” in just about every multiplayer FPS I play.
I’m a hipster like that, I guess.
H.Chinzor+ Rokstedi
M.Rokstedi + Galactic
L.Carb-9/barnett + sea eagle
double buffed rokstedi ftw
I actually like both Kalt and Tokmak as my 2nd when using the Drognav. As you say, the Richie (ever so awesome) is to similar to the Drognav. The Belgo runs out of ammo too quick, and it feels like a peashooter. I use it from time to time though (I use the Hockler(?), but its the same gun with different skin).
I usually use the hockler over the belgo too, since it looks so badass with the muzzle break thrown on.
I keep a silencer on the belgo in case i ever want to go that route, tho.
The weapons are over nerfed to the point where none are really memorable, carb is just closest to a comfortable middle. The attachments are rediculously useless. I carry larger clips but same number of bullets? Really? Extending the barrel makes it weaker and less accurate? Good thing I’m using a front grip to increase my stability by one thousandth of a microtic at the cost of equip speed and reload time.
The heavy is useless

Whats the point in using the heavy ?
You are clearly expecting too much from attachments.
The clips are a pretty big alteration to make, you choose if you want to reload often but quickly or reload less but with more risk. Its not about carrying more ammo, its about changing reload dynamics.
There is no barrel extension, so i cant say much about that, assuming you are talking about the silencers, which normally would increase accuracy and recoil in addition to making the shots quieter, its called balance. If they made silencers realistic, there wouldn’t really be any downsides.
Also, you should stop paying so much attention to the stat bars and actually try experimenting with the weapons themselves. The muzzle brakes and fore grips don’t change the bars much, but make noticeable alterations to how the guns feel. Some guns it allows you to have bursts of fire twice as long while still staying on target, other guns the pair of attachments remove almost any need to even burst fire.
If you want to have bigger alterations to weapons than this, then use a different gun. You say they arent memorable, but each of the gun has its own niche.
just for SMGs:
CARB-9 is the all-round gun. Not too many jobs it can’t handle
Kross is the accurate spraying SMG
Tampa is the strong but hard to control SMG
Galactic is the “sidearm” SMG. As a weaker gun with quick equip speed and a large magazine, it makes a
good gun to pull out if you need to finish someone off.
Bulpdaun is the accurate SMG. It is the most viable one beyond short range.
Forgot to mention earlier if I’m not running the Euston AR it’s the Rhett all the way and on my light I run Kross + Ritchie.
The stats-page have confirmed what we already knew, the CARB-9 is the best weapon in the game, atleast in my case. Playing mostly light, sometimes medium, the weapons I’ve done best with now, is:
[ol]
[li]CARB-9[/li][li]Drognav[/li][li]Rhett[/li][/ol]
I have to say, the drognav can be a beast. I’m using it with the iron sights, with a muzzle break.
I thought I liked the galactic, but my stats with it is horrible, I have almost double XP/min with the CARB.
What about you guys,
have the statsite shown anything out of the ordinary?
What is your best weapon (used more than 30 mins)?
Would love to hear from someone thats been playing as a heavy.
I dont know exactly how you play but i wouldnt put much bearing on XP/min or however it is that it keeps that stat basically because the timer counts the entire time you are holding it. Because of that secondary guns can have way lower time used and much higher points per min. Because of that while your Main gun tends to be much lower cause you have it out while running around to and from objectives with the timer counting the whole time you may also be more efficient with it when you actually use it.
For example (using the messed up stats site) My lobster is by far my best points per min wepaon but i also tend to not run around everywhere with it out holding it, i switch to it when the time is right and lob a few out and then switch back to main other gun. Just take those kind of things into account cause the stats site give you very little info to make good solid judgements.
Actually that is not a reason to use Tampa over Carb because Carb still does more damage and will beat Tampa even at shotgun range. The only reason to use any other SMG than Carb-9 is basically being different and not following the crowd.
> Carb-9 is overpowered noob gun, I mean overoverpowered.
Carb 9 and Kross are the only weapons worth using at the moment. There’s nothing wrong with either one of these weapons. It’s the rest of the guns that are underperforming. They need to buff the damage for each one of them.

I cant seem to go down a weapon size, so my main gun when light=smg/snipe, medium=ar/shotgun, heavy=lmg. But now that you mention it, I have used the Drognav as a secondary when I play medium with a shotgun. Usually I get close with the shotgun though, as thats the reason I chose it in the first place. So, for me atleast, the XP/min will usually tell me my efficiency with that weapon.
If it helps explain things, handguns are not available as a primary. So as a light, you have to use a light weapon as your primary.
My point was that I always use the highest weapon-class available as main weapon. As light, there is only 1 choice, I know that
Not that that makes much difference when it comes to XP/min…
