Weapon Discussion

The stats-page have confirmed what we already knew, the CARB-9 is the best weapon in the game, atleast in my case. Playing mostly light, sometimes medium, the weapons I’ve done best with now, is:

[/li][li]Drognav
[/li][li]Rhett
[/li][/ol]

I have to say, the drognav can be a beast. I’m using it with the iron sights, with a muzzle break.

I thought I liked the galactic, but my stats with it is horrible, I have almost double XP/min with the CARB.

What about you guys,
have the statsite shown anything out of the ordinary?
What is your best weapon (used more than 30 mins)?

Would love to hear from someone thats been playing as a heavy.

Ppl can get away doing stuff with the Carb that cant be done with anyother gun.

Point and paint the target.

The thing clearly needs to get fixed.

Im doing quite well with the tampa gerund and Mossington, Most used loadouts:

Jack of all trades:Moss+Ger
Close quarters fiend: moss+ Tamp
Support fire: Ger+Barnett

So far my basic loadouts have been:

Maximus + Gerund

Gerund + Kross

CARB-9 + Seagull

depending on bodytype obviously.
I swap out my guns depending on the map or situation at times, but those are always my starting loadouts

Engineer(aka CowBoy) Rockstedi or Mossington or Barnett or Dragnav and ofcourse Caesar Revolver

Medic/Bulpdaun and Bulpdaun

Operative/Silencers-Mossington and Tampa or Sea Eagle

I use pretty much everything. Most of the time I run around with dual SMGs though.

For my medium and light builds I use the Carb-9 (Fallout version) as my main and the Belgo MP as my secondary.

Kross is more accurate than the Carb-9 and has less kick. I have better luck with Kross. Kross and Bolgo or Seagull all the way.

Anyone that actually do better with tampa than CARB? I understand that it’s fun to switch around, but the others seems so weak… Especially the Galactic, the gun that in my oppinion is the best looking…

Edit: Wrote this before wolf posted… Do you do better with the Kross, or do you use it because you don’t want to be part of the CARB-9 group?

Same as Wolf, I have much better luck with the Kross. I find its accuracy really useful and it doesnt kick as much in iron sights.
So I use the Kross and Hockler. Changing to Kross and Ritchie if I want to snipe.

As an all-round gun the CARB-9 clearly wins. Treat the Tampa like a shotgun though, flanking, ambushing, not firing till you get close; and you will have lots of success with it.

Personally I usually play as a medium and tend to run: Euston AR and Kross SMG. The Euston and other AR’s can really be devastating if you fire in bursts rather than just holding down the fire button. I genuinely prefer the Kross over the Carb-9 as it feels more stable and accurate and therefore tends to net me more kills than running less accuracy/stability and higher dmg w/ the Carb-9.

I tried all the guns, Tampa, Galactic, Kross, Budapum(Doom Gun) Carb-9…me and my bud are constantly discussing the guns while we play, constantly trying out different ones/attachments. He loves the Carb, but I am more comfortable and have more success with the Kross.

I wonder if some load-outs may work better on certain maps and certain objectives?

I use a Medium with Euston+Kross secondary on my Assault Operative. Euston runs out of ammo quick but as a soldier you can restock yourself. I am learning new stuff every time I play…

The Carb is good, but I don’t see how it’s the best. I can do just as well with the Kross and Tampa.

funny I run those on my operative (my preferred class) as well. Despite the small amount of ammo in the Euston you can definitely kill 2+ people per clip if you fire in bursts and like you said with soldiers around it’s no biggie.
