With all the new people coming in we need servers with a minimum level to separate the veterans from the fresh blood. Currently the games are extremely unbalanced (even more so than before). Its a chore to play for both old and new players.
We need server with minimum level 7+
I can’t more than agree with this sadly. Since pub balance is still a big problem… I more and more face totally unbalanced games where there is a full team above 6/7 totally wrecking a team who has 2/3 players below those levels. The game generally hits a point where newcomers still don’t know what to do, get chainkilled, then (rage)quit, leaving 2-3 still in the team. Then the opposite players mock the brave enough to stay and refuse to balance.
At least, if not putting minimum level servers, put a proper autobalance system. I’m bored of these games where most of the players deliberately show disrespect in fairness.
Autobalance is a huge must have. Right now it balances based on end game score when a match ends, but it doesn’t do any autobalance during the match and it doesn’t balance as the match starts. Plenty of times I have seen a match start 2v6 because some players left during the lobby. The fact that the game allows that match to continue without an autobalance is terrible. The balance by skill vote is useless if only two people vote yes.
Bump, with the recent wave of beta keys we need these kind of servers more than anything.
@Choowkee Great idea! This way we could have servers for hopping in and having fun and high rank servers for more competive play.
All the yes. I’m sad to say the game has gotten decidedly less fun to play with the influx of new players. I get that this’ll change over time, but that doesn’t mean the game has to suffer right now.
@MissMurder
Plz make level 10+ Servers !! Would be so much better.
I think when reaching around level 10, it is ensured that this player has some kind of knowledge of the game, and this will lead to much better games with balance and most important teamplay. With this system you can have skilled games even on public.
Total noobs > servers max level 6
little experience > servers below level 10
much experience/veterans > server with level 10+
With this system every skilllevel can have balanced and fun games on publics.
And i also guarantee you, that with this system A LOT OF NEW PLAYERS will stay in the game. Cause they won´t leave after 1 game, because they won´t get spawnraped/rekt by much higher level players in their first matches. They can slowly learn the game and have fun without being stressed so much.
Its good for both sides. Newcomers and Veterans.
@MissMurder
Total noobs > servers max level 6
little/medium experience > servers max level 15
much experience/veterans > server with level 15+
Make it like this maybe, cuz of this event with XP boost there are gonna be noobs with level ~8-13 .
Hey, all.
I agree with this, I think they should have staggered servers all the way up to level 10. This way people can play with people on their own level until level 10 that way it is a lot more fun for new players, especially if this is their first FPS game.
Goo idea
we need level overlaps. Not exclusive groups of below / up to 15 and above 15.
=< 15 lvl ; and 13lvl +
I disagree segregating players by lvl is not helping the game. It just spreads the playerbase too thin.
We already see this with the “catch 22” matchmaking mode. MM worked fine on the stresstest weekends.
But now that it’s gated to lvl. 7 it’s dead.
Why? because the first who reached lvl 7 tried it, found no one to play against and never tried again. This cycle now keeps on repeating over and over again for every new lvl. 7 player.
Furthermore new players learn faster if they play with high rank players.
If all they encounter till lvl. 7 is other new players they might not pick up valuable tactics and depending on the fps background they might have, will play the game in a complete wrong fashion (already seen lvl. 1 players basically crouching trough a whole match).
As much as it sucks for them (and us) they need to see what works and what doesn’t by playing with/against high lvl. players.
Otherwise they might keep their bad habbits. which would result in nothing more than lvl.7 noobs that invade a lvl. 7+ server (are we demanding a lvl. 22+ server then? )
Personaly I think a better solution would be to open up the matchmaking for lvl. 1. The skill balancing in that mode would ensure that new players and better players are evened out across teams.
Resulting in better matches for everyone in the long run.
(might need to do a matchmaking only weekend tho to restart that mode for this to work).
