i happened to spec someone on beach the other day, he was a soldier with an mg. as allies we had the flag and the front door open. as a covert i was looking for a uniform but was blown to pieces. while in limbo he is laying down on the top step but is able to see the axis exiting down the stairs from there spawn point. (btw…shrub mod?) or bug?

Thats interesting, I have been gibbed some times and while waiting to respawn, I have been able to spectate the opposition. Must be a bug.
That’s not what he meant I think (and are you sure anyway?).
When spectating players with an deployed MG you seem to see the world from a slightly different position than them - I often spectated someone lying between bushes happily killing enemies, while I as a spectator couldn’t see anything. I know there are hacks to remove bushes and grass, but I’ve seen it just too often for that to be the cause?
So while YOU have seen things you shouldn’t have, I don’t think the player you spectated has.
or unless you mean all your team was dead and waiting to respawn in that case the last one to be gibbed will have all players watching what he is watching that way if he dies last near there spawn everyone will be viewing his screen and seeing the enemies as they set up for another wave of attackers
there’s some spectator bug, where you can occasionally see through a nearby wall when spectating a player. The player himself cant actually see through them.
The spot where I’ve seen it is in the little corner that some axis like to mortar from as Axis at the first phase of Goldrush.
Theres a CVAR to disable the bushes just incase thats what youve saw before sniser…
Starting to use it widely now on most servers running etpro or comp settings.
Cvar? And it’s okay with PB? Do you happen to have the name of that cvar handy, sounds useful 
I dont think you can remove the bushes. A server running ETPro can force all clients not to display the grass foliage though - forcecvar r_drawfoliage 0
perfect example of this is an mg deployed underneath the bridge outside the main door on radar. if hes in the right spot when speccing him half his view is blocked by one of the posts although from his view the post is outside his view.
ya when mg gunenrs use corners of walls etc as a barrier but push there body/gun half way into the corner this is done inside the bank where you can kinda insert yourself in the wall and still fire … oh well nade kills them off
This is related about 50%, but…
I was spectating a couple days ago on goldrush. I was hiding in the long hall-like place above the courtyard where I saw the tank top (not clothing) sticking out of the ground (the tank was not even directly below…) It just appeared, and bullets were shooting from it but if I went in front of them they didn’t hit me. I tried to take a screenshot but by the time I figured out F11 was the screenshot key the tank had gone into the courtyard and the top disappeared. Ah well, maybe next time!
