I found one post before… didnt really have any sollution or an idea of what the real problem is…

Not sure if this is fixed in the server patch but this is a fairly big problem for myself.

I run ET @ UrbanServers.com. Somtimes my server is 48 people somtimes 16. I get floods of overflowed message for clients once every 10-15mins sometimes, more or less… it still happens.

Before they are dropped for what im guessing is a flood it really kills the server, or so it appears to me… this is what is causing lag sometimes in-game, from ET console i am unable to see the errors to prove it… i will have to play ET in a window while i watch the server console directly for the problems.

That and kicking 999’ers or people loading maps tend to make it run alot smoother, some reason when people with bad pings join the whole server tends to lag a bit more… my guess is the lag code? can an DEV Team member comment on that as well?

This will be addressed by the server patch mentioned in the sticky thread at the top of this forum.

wasnt sure if that was this error or not, others appear to have their server crash… mine has yet to crash, even at 64players for a little while it didnt crash, but i did not run that for more then 10mins.
