For Dutchhaze 2.0 I want a duck in the canals… Any free md3 models you guys know about ? :stroggbanana:

But I am clueless with models. How do I convert em to md3 ?
Well if you are going to include rubber ducks in the running, then let me point out that Meshlab 1.0.0 also comes with a rubber duck sample. Like Blowfish’s link you can output it as .obj. So I guess his question is what is the best way to convert .obj to .md3?
(Meshlab can also output it as .3ds)
(BTW I assume the sample is free to use as it comes in an open source program)
The Collada sample files also offer some models and IIRC one of them was a model of a duck.

One problem with this free duck you showed Blowfish is the verts [Vertices: 2,050] That’s alot for just a duck.
If the theme of the map is about drugs, why not have a trigger that makes an Elephant float past a window or something when you reach a certain room.
Or even Hitler

you could probably find a pink elephant somewhere cause they were used for mortar shells in a skin pack
Also you could probably make your own duck in gtk radiant and then use C’s tool to export is to md3
