Want To Install WET

ok well i wanna give Wolfenstein another chance since i just cant forget how fun it was to play.
But i dont know where to begin anymore,last time i installed ever server i joined was nothing but bots and then it messed with my startup page every time i ran ET.
Could someone help me with everything i need to get this game up & running??! PLZZ

Use ET:Legacy. It starts it’s own mod (legacy) by default and the menu *****ting doesn’t appear at start-up if I remember correctly. Get it here: http://forums.warchest.com/showthread.php/31857-ET-Legacy && http://www.etlegacy.com/

To avoid the fake servers that appear full only to drop you in a crap server with mostly bots use in-browser server lists such as these: http://splatterladder.com/?mod=serverlist && http://et.trackbase.net/serverlist to find human-only servers rather then waste your time using the in-game list.
