Wanna a new Cup?

Hey guys, we would like to start a new Cup. But before we’ll announce further details I’ve got some questions to all of you!

  • Which format do you prefer? (4on4, 5on5, 6on6)
  • Do you like to see some custom maps, such as “Maridia” and “Radar” ?
  • Which config do you like? (Tlr 5on5 cfg, CB 4on4, CB 6on6)
  • Are here some players who could provide NA servers? (Canada, USA, etc.)
  • 1 Day Cup or a longer lasting one?

We got some “new” ideas, such as Loser bracket and much more :slight_smile:

6v6 is surely what we all want, just that getting enuf teams is going to a problem. Customs are always welcome.

6on6 for better games, 4on4 for having enough players :(.

YES! :stroggbanana:

No sprint+shoot/reload/heal but have faster sprint on. And get rid of silly PB restrictions for player arrows, scoreboard screenshots and network settings. Keep demos forced on of course, so players can’t ‘forget’ to record them in case of e-drama.

We got some “new” ideas, such as Loser bracket and much more :slight_smile:

haha chris ^^. Rex asked for everyone´s feedback, so I gave mine. I respect all the mappers and what they do, its awesome and you know I like maridia. Havent played many others since I have huge problems with custom maps (more than likely my own stupidity but it still remains a fact that they always mess my game and folders up).

Anyways personally in a cup I d like the maps Im used to and can play without problems ^^ no offense to all the custom map lovers =)

how about making 1 cup with just normal maps and 1 cup with custom maps only… just a suggestion.

good idea shelly because i wont play cup with custom maps not because i dont like them i need like 2 days to download the whole maps -_- with my isdn connection its impossible so thats a very good idea :slight_smile:

Good choice Shelly, this fits with my team. :wink:

If is durign the weekend Excidium is 100% in.

Let me highlight to use the clasic CB 4on4 config. Excidium Arena server is running with CB config, feel free to join it.

You dont need all the maps considering only a few are playable for comp anyway.

Some custom maps would be awesome. I really liked the 5vs5 format and i also prefer one day cup.
